The new male contraceptive is non-hormonal. If only more men had a chance to experience the emotional side-effects we do.

If a medication you are taking is having negative side effects, stop taking it. Really, it's as simple as that. Also, if a woman is having problems with birth control, go talk to your freaking doctor. There are many different options for women.

Funnily enough, I've heard and met a lot of women that go on the pill to control their cycles better, have less side effects from their period, feel less "hormonal", control their acne, among other things.

I doubt that many women suddenly would go off the pill if the men started using the pill, because they still get other benefits from it. This article is just pure trash.

The irony of a woman named "Daisy Buchanan" claiming that women are not more emotional naturally than men should be obvious to anyone familiar with "The Great Gatsby."

Then why were women considered more emotional pre development of the pill?

Currently the idea of men's behaviour being dictated by a pill-induced surfeit of hormones is purely hypothetical. However, in the interest of empathy, and to help men and women understand each other a little bit better, I'd like the guys to experience the side-effects that we've been putting up with since our teens.

So in other words because some people are short I should walk around on my knees for a couple days? Does this not strike anyone else as being vengeful?

Sure, not taking the pill will do away with needing jabs and being ill in general, and men never have mood swings or are irritable.

Side note: painful IUD's usually are too large(-- a nullipara has a much smaller one than a mom that had 10 kids), the NHS isn't famous for expertise in selecting the right size (you get what's left in their drawer) or examining chairs,with stirrups so that this thing fits easily so use a private gyn, don't let the GP's nurse butcher you on the bench in the worst possible position. Also, spots in the face usually can be prevented by not caking the skin with bacteria laden chemicals and fats, bonus: much fewer wrinkles too, you don't reek whilst looking like a painted clown and it saves money.

Ahem, from what I've observed over the years... men have been experiencing those side-effects kind of up close and in their faces ever since, in fact they tend to get the worst of it, because certain women just lack basic manners.

I think men know all about fussy dressers too, and then some... :-D Buy a nice dress that doesn't make you look like a pressed sausage, stop over-eating carbs that turn you into a human balloon and wear decent shoes so you can stand up straight. Simples.

(I think I stop here. There is only so much unintentional comedy I can take. That women is just a prize idiot and would be as infuriating to read if she'd talk about anything else. I'd hate to read a recipe how to boil eggs by this literary wonder... Maybe we need to start treating feminism as a genre of stand-up comedy, no sober person can take this demented rubbish serious.)

Another feminist deluded into thinking there are no differences between men and women. I'm honestly starting to think these women have a deep self-loathing because they aren't men. Maybe they are the ones who really hate women?
