Well, this was probably a false accusation , but not a malicious false accusation. As feminists point out, having the crowd yell "paedo, paedo" at him on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday really had no long lasting effects.

So we shouldn't really count this as a false accusation or discuss it much because it would deter other people from turning in paedos. It's important to remember that false accusations are rare.

Another resident added: "Whoever started those rumours now has to live with that. He wasn't a paedophile and he's now dead.”

Sadly I doubt they'll have any trouble justifying to themselves and will live the rest of their days feeling like a hero.

This is exactly the sort of thing the MRM needs to be focusing on.

Feminists certainly are doing nothing to quell the pedo-hysteria. Hell, if anything that works to their advantage (feminists only benefit when men are perceived as monsters).

We need real reform here. It has to happen to protect men and, ironically, children as this is doing nothing to stop actual pedophiles. Feminists refuse to do it. So that leaves MRAs.

Sadly we'll have no shortage of stories like this to back our case.

I blame the police for cowardice that stoked the flames of hysteria in an incredibly backward and stupid population. Yes. I'm looking at you Bristol.

They had no need to arrest him. Breach of the peace is abused by police to arrest the innocent. The crowd was prejudiced against him. He was different and they were bullying him. This is very primitive but the police wouldn't stand up to it. To placate the crowd they arrest the victim.

I blame the media for stoking hysteria around paedophilia most recently around the deceased Jimmy Savile.

I blame the British public for its stupid obsession with people taking photographs in public. How does a paedophile get off on a picture of a fully clothed youngster? If he does why is it not obscene for children to go outdoors? And even if they do get off on them how does that harm anybody? What is the basis of our laws: proscribing harm or proscribing pleasure?

I blame the dark and sinister need of the public to discipline and punish perceived male sexual pleasure. Having moved on from proscribing homosexual sex it now needs another phantom bogeyman to condemn and to hang its fears on.

I don't blame feminism for this one. But I think the fear and hatred of male sexual pleasure and the need to regulate it independently of the causing of harm lies at the root of contemporary feminism with its pernicious male shaming and its phantasmagoric rape culture.

Hopefully 24 year olds Lee James and Stephen Norley will be severely punished for this hate crime.

I hate that it's even necessary to provide "nothing bad was found on his computer" and "had not taken indecent images" disclaimers.

Neither, even if they would true, would justify this shit.

Hopefully whoever contributed to the rumor mongering will also be held accountable by their communities for contributing to this.

The thing that pisses me off the most about this is that the guy was just trying to defend his garden from vandalism which he clearly cared a lot about.

In many places in the UK/US, if I had a little cunt of a kid who was being a nuisance to single male neighbours, I can use threat of accusation of pedophilia or some other heavily stigmatized label against them to preemptively discredit them or intimidate them.

I've seen EXACTLY this type of incident before, but not reaching this awful conclusion. Basically the police don't give a fuck if a complaint is made. The individual was asked 3 questions when he complained (1) Are from a visible minority. (2) Are you disabled. (3) Are you a women. Unless you answer yes to one of three things you are fucked and they say they can't do anything. Out of desperation he videod them in the act in a very public place and boom you can tell the rest of the story; the yobs had enough to distort and get adults involved. This man was and still is a wonderful person and it makes me cry to think of the hell he went through.

The harassment, at times horrific, went on for years despite attempts by community leaders to stop it. The school even brought in a professional athlete to speak to the yobs, which worked for a couple of months. It was stopped in a split second when his daughter found out about it and got her boyfriend and his friends to beat the shit out of the thugs involved; these were all teenagers. After the fact I found it amazing that hardly anyone in the community knew this had been going on and that this man had not been the only target.

I think this type of thing goes on more often than is thought and is a serious issue for some men, it is a concern of the MRM imo.

The crazy thing is that it sounds like it happened in India or something given his name, but it took place in the fucking UK. I thought we were past witch-hunts and lynching people.

As for the people involved, how about we practice what we preach and assume they're innocent until proven guilty.

It's so sad this man was killed even though he wasn't a paedophile. Anyone taking photographs of adolescents in public should of course be suspected at once. But nobody should kill them unless they are absolutely sure they are paedophiles. Think of the children. Yes. But killing an innocent man will not protect them. We need to preserve a sense of balance.

EDIT: On second thoughts, maybe it's worth it to kill a few innocent people just to make sure children are safe?

EDIT 2. I wrote this comment to see how many down votes and disagreements it would attract. After 2 days one disagreement and only 5 down votes. Shocking!
