I wonder what is so offensive to feminist mods about the idea that "both movements can exist side-by-side without controversy or hatred"?

In any case, I think the answer to the question is obvious. The feminists won't even consider the possibility.

Feminism is hostile to me because of my gender. Feminists assume the most horrible things about me because of my gender. I can't be supportive of a movement that sees me as a problem because of what I am, not for what I've done.

I think the proof is in the posting here people. They remove what they disagree with, but we allow disagreement so long as they are respectful.

My answer is, no.

Feminism cannot exist side by side with any social movement that promotes the human rights of males. It is a contradiction in terms, a logical impossibility. The two things necessarily exclude each other.

Feminism is the project to increase the power of women with no proposed endpoint, and there is simply no way that such a project would comport with a movement that promotes the human rights of males. The conflict of interest would be radical, and a clash would be inevitable sooner or later.

My own wish is for feminism to walk through the exit door of the universe.

It would be easier if feminism wasn't framing abuse and violence as male, and better for society too. Most peoples first lessons of abuse and violence are at the hand of their main caregiver.

I guess I don't mind women's rights (although you wouldn't be a very active activist what with having no issues to fight for) but feminism is a hate movement.

I think the question of the dominance of ongoing existence of male-dominated institutions and male culture as the norm is the main sticking point. I doubt anyone would question that most third world countries are still patriarchies, like Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Male cultural dominance is now the main issue in western countries where women have made strides in legal/formal equality.
