Google aggregates your own search terms, meaning that it auto results to things that you are more likely to search for based on your previous searches...it totally makes sense that someone who frequents this sub would get this result, but it is not representative of google.

For example, I did this and it came out with "Define ratchet". Apparently I've been trying to stay hip with the kids and their #yoloswag lingo. I still don't know what ratchet means.

You don't need to include the colon in the search query. Simply typing

define word

will get you the definition card at the top of the results.

Both definitions are sexist in nature and overly narrow. They're at least equal in their wording though.

misogyny: hatred of women by men

misandry: hatred of men by women

Google is equal in its treatment yet wrong, as the definitions do not properly recognize that women can also hate women and men can also hate men.
