I don't want a society full of women who will break at the slightest touch. I see #MeToo being used to shed light on some seriously traumatic events. I think it's important to acknowledge that this is happening in our society and it may be more prevalent than we think. I also see a lot of stories of catcalling and other little offenses and annoyances, and the woman says how terrible it is and it needs to stop.

Seriously? Is that what women are becoming? You can't handle a freaking guy whistling at you without going into a mental breakdown? I understand a big part of it is not feeling safe. That comes from a fear of men that's been amplified by media and politics. Men are not really that bad or dangerous.

We're always having a conversation about what's wrong with men, how men are failing women, and how men need to change.

You know what? Women need to work on some things, too.

For starters, don't have a freaking meltdown when a guy you aren't attracted to hits on you. It's what men do. They hit on you.

Can it go too far? Of course it can. That's not normal, it's not common, and we can work on ways to educate men to know how much is too much, but I'm tired of hearing this mamby pamby "woe is me" crap when a guy is just trying to hit on you, and every guy who makes an advance on you that's too aggressive for your liking isn't a sexual predator.

I hear women saying "we have to deal with this every day." Yes, you have to deal with men hitting on you every day. Fucking deal with it.
