I feel like one practical step for paternal reproductive rights would be mandatory paternity testing. This alone may influence how a woman exercises her own rights. Surely there is more that could be done, but this seems like a simple stepping stone.

I'm sorry guys, I realize this will be an unpopular opinion, but abortion is wrong. The desire to kill a child comes from exactly the same place in a woman's heart as the desire to falsely accuse her partner. You can downvote me all you want, you will find this out the hard way sooner or later.

I'm not sure if I agree with the opt-out ability, not because of "fairness" toward women, but because it negatively affects the child.

I'm very aware that this makes managing pregnancy very "unequal" (with women holding all the cards), but then reproduction is an unequal biological process.

Arguing from a "financial fairness for both parents" perspective, then yes we should have the ability to opt-out.

Arguing from a "what's best the child" perspective, then no, we should not be able to.

Happy to hear alternative viewpoints here, I'm not set in my ways.

I am not sure this is a good proposal. Actually abortion has large negative impact on women's health, and if you make her pregnant and now want to kill the unborn child, well, there is some fault on your side.. Maybe at least in this case, a man should pay for a n abortion and post-abortion recovery something.
