Feminists have dreamed up vocabulary that is blatantly bigoted toward men. The biggest offender, IMO, is the term "mansplaining," which I guess they think is creative. I don't know what could be more bigoted than to automatically assume that an explanation is wrong based on someone's gender. They claim it's a word that means to talk down to someone, but that excuse doesn't fly either. By putting "man" at the beginning of the word, they're associating a gender to that behavior. Plenty of words exist in English to describe this idea -- "to patronize," "to condescend," or "to talk down to" are all choices that are not gender loaded. I actually had one feminist claim that the word was needed because women don't ever talk down to men. On what planet does she live? Her being so out of touch with reality might explain how she could fail to see the blatant and obvious bigotry of this term.

Other bigoted feminist terms are "male tears" and "toxic masculinity." Men are already highly conditioned to not allow tears. If a man cries, you can bet it's a serious situation. When my aunt died, my cousin (her son) was stoic through the whole funeral, and then afterward when we were talking, he let a few tears slip out. He immediately fought them back and apologized. If you can't cry when your mom dies, when the fuck can you cry? The point is, if a man cries, it's usually VERY serious. Yet feminists have the audacity to make a joke out of "male tears" as if the suffering of human beings were funny. I've pointed this out to feminists, but they STILL fail to see the hatred and the bigotry. "Toxic masculinity" is another one, of course. There are toxic people of both genders. It's not a male thing. I also cannot fathom how anyone could fail to see that.

These three terms are blatantly hateful and bigoted. It blows my mind that anyone could fail to see that, especially feminists. They claim to be for equality, which would mean that everyone should be treated with fairness and respect, regardless of gender. Yet, I rarely ever seen any feminist condemn any of these terms. I had a feminist agree with me about "mansplain" one time. ONCE! I discuss politics a lot with people because I'm interested in them. Every other feminist I've ever pointed this out to has acted surprised that anyone would have a problem with any of these words. I've pointed out that saying "mansplain" to a man is like calling a woman a "dumb broad." The latter is a very sexist term that I haven't heard used in decades. That's a good thing. Today it's not very common to dismiss a woman's views simply because of her sex. At one point, and I remember it when I was a kid, it was fairly common to hear something like, "What do you expect -- she's a dumb broad?" Very sexist. You would think if feminists objected to that kind of language (as they should), they would object to terms like mansplain.

I wonder if any of you have had better luck. Have you experienced feminists making an effort to be fair by condemning these blatantly misandrist terms or other ones? The clear bias I've encountered is one of the many reasons why men's rights are needed. Of course, feminists constantly deride men's rights as some kind of extremist, far-right hate movement, which it's obviously not, but that's another topic. I would like to hear from other men's rights people if your experience has been similar to mine or if you've had better experiences.
