People have sex for more reasons and combinations of reasons than can possibly be analyzed.

Love, lust, boredom, obligation, wanting to feel special, wanting to just feel, not wanting to feel anything, being grateful, being angry, being lonely, being sad, being happy, wanting to feel attractive, wanting to make your partner feel attractive, wanting to feel powerful, wanting to feel loved, wanting to feel degraded, nothing good on Netflix, something sexy on Netflix, saying goodbye, saying hello, wanting to give, wanting to take, wanting to share, etc etc etc.

Trying to reduce all of that into this kind of silliness displays either a fundamental lack of understanding and experience or a disingenuous disparagement of women disguised as a question.

Yes, some men and women have sex purely for validation of their partner, or to gain resources, or to perform a perceived marital dury. That is true.

However for women who are in relationships with men we love and are attracted to, we have sex with them because we are aroused and want to fuck our partners. I suppose you could still call this "transactional", since we are "trading" sex for sex, but that's not usually what people mean by it.

No, haha I made a post on this but I said that this is the wrong assumption TRP has. Only a small portion of people have sex transactionally. And men have ”validation sex” as well (amount of partners, attractiveness of partner). Casual sex gives them economic benefit as well, but indirectly through paying as little as possible.

People rarely have sex solely and strictly for one reason. It's usually a whole range of reasons, some of which are conscious and some of which are subconscious.

Additionally, you can define transactional sex so narrowly ($50 for blowjob until ejaculation) that transactional sex is only part of the work of professional sex workers or so extremely broadly (any sex that isn't unconditional) that virtually all sex is transactional, as almost every other human activity.

So, how do you actually understand transactional sex and what according to you is not transactional sex? Also, where do you think the line and difference is between transactional sex and validation sex?

Not really. Validation sex for me validates all of the money and time spent on my appearance. It can also be to compete with other women. Sex is ultimately a reward for sex, women like it too but men's orgasm is way stronger, post nut clarity and nofap prove this. Since sex is a reward it's reasonable for women to see it as transactional and I personally don't mind as a man.

The problem is that in this society sex is so romanticized to the point where now people think there are soul ties during sex or some other crap. Sex is not an expression of love, sex is sex and men get the most benefits out of it
