Men are responsible for not only defending their countries, but also getting women to agree to give birth. Men don't benefit from being patriotic, and should abandon their countries. Speaking as someone who's fled Taiwan and fed up with that society exploiting men to flatter women.

The fourth form will be specialised training for university students, in which it will be required to undergo 50 days of military training a year. This will be at basic level for the first two years of studies, while over the next three years it will be possible to obtain officer qualifications at the National Defence Academy of Latvia.

I can't believe in what I'm reading. This can't be real.. Just think about how would similar, or just any "obligations" of this kind be received if imposed on women?

Guys, men's rights doesn't only need to be about "hurr durr feminism stupid." This event has nothing to do with feminism, and women aren't doing this to men. Latvian politicians are overwhelmingly men, and the idea that women can't fight and should/must be protected is deeply misogynistic.

This is obviously a political move done during a time of war and happening during an increasingly aggressive worldwide swing toward nationalism. Men inevitably suffer during these periods, largely at the hands OF MEN.

Stuff like this is happening all over the world. Can we please support men without centering everything around victimization under women and supposed feminist dominance.

It's getting pathetic at this point, and it only hurts the movement if all we have to talk about is how women suck.

Be better.

Bruh, its worth it. In estonia the conscription was never abolished. Every single man in the country has accepted that they too must serve the country. Women even volunteer to join! For small countries such as the baltics this is very needed ngl.
