Are relationships worth it? Is it better to be single?

Yes. Go be in a relationship. You’ll probably get it wrong, but do your best. Eliminate expectations. Make some effort on yourself- workout, join some amateur theatre, get into dance music or something, read! (I recommend a book like a picture of Dorian Gray) and befriend as many people, both guys and girls, as possible, get good at befriending people, talk about whatever the hell pops into your head. You’ll meet some gorgeous people and when you do, ask them if they like you and they’d like to hang out again. Be verbally forward. Now is the time to transmit that interest, get closure on your attraction within the first few days. Ask them if they really like you. Within the first few relationships you can feel elation that many people find hard to feel ever again, partly because in order to get it, in order to like someone that much, we need to be slightly vulnerable and naïve. I’m grateful that I got that experience and I would say it was more than worth it. For the two years it lasted, it was brilliant. When both your libidos are incredibly high and you can talk about anything in your head and sensations are still new, and doing all the dumb couple things together appeals and comes natural and you think the world of this person.

But eventually you change and they change and it becomes apparent it’s not the same thing anymore, your not enjoying each others company like you once did and one person decides a new chapter needs to start apart and the other agrees and that’s okay.

But yeah, they’re worth it, I especially think well of my first ones. Do your best, you’ll likely get it wrong, but try not to hurt anyone. Communicate lots.

We are a gregarious species, we need other people.

So I don't think it's beter generally, but it really depends on each person's own psychology.

Depends on the self and the partner. There are too many factors to know for sure what is best for a person, so you have to kind of assess periodically as you go through life.

I've never been able to get a relationship. I think it depends on the partner, if it's worth or not. I dream... but sadly, I never got anywhere

I think there's a threshold for sure. Where it's worth it up until a point.

The tricky part is that humans are flawed. So in any relationship -- you gotta put up with a flawed partner. Which often means compromise and sacrifice. And in return -- they gotta compromise for your flaws as well.

So it's a double-edged sword. They can be really great, or they can be really terrible. You gotta do some soul-searching and find out what's best for you. But I assure you, not everyone is the same, and some people honestly do best not having a relationship.

Another major point I want to touch on. A lot of people misunderstand relationships into thinking another person can fix their flaws. And that's not very realistic. If you have depression or PTSD -- getting a relationship won't magically cure you. So never go into a relationship with false expectations.

My second major point is, it is true that humans thrive on social experiences and interactions. However, that does not mean you need a relationship to live a rich and fulfilling life. You can fill your world with all sorts of social interactions, and have many, many friends. I often find friends the best, because there's a lot less compromises involved. They're not trying to live with you, or mess with your stuff. They come with their own money, and at the end of the night -- you both get some quality alone time for some peace and quiet.

Ultimately, you have to do what's best for YOU! Everyone is different, and some people do better in relationships than not in one. I would suggest you actively observe those around you who are in relationships, and ask them questions. Ask your buddies the pros and cons about their relationships. Ask your parents. Your family or coworkers.

While it's always fun to ask a bunch of randos on the internet for advice, it's often best to get the answers from the source directly. Ask people who are currently in relationships, and see what they say! Then compare their lifestyles to yours, and see if it's something you'd be willing to do.

Current relationship is definitely worth it.

If I told you how many tries it took to get here and how much failure before the win, you'd probably give up and not even bother.

Depends on what you want from life? If you want to create a family with kids and build your legacy, than you are forced to find a woman. Just tread carefully, things became retarded in the west.

If you just want some pous pous, make money and go to Thailand. Or stay at home and get the sweet hookers, If im being honest, escorts cost much less than a relationship and its shitton less risky.

If you just want to have kids because its your ancestral duty to spread your DNA everywhere like the zergling that you are, but you dont want to be responsible. Donate semen to sperm clinics. Lots of them! Across shitton of countries.

It's only worth it if you genuinely enjoy it. If you haven't felt like you're missing anything, then you're fine. You're also super young. It'll happen when it happens. Keep enjoying your youth, dude.

Depends on the relationship. Some relationships can be terrible and destructive and leave people feeling broken and traumatised. However some relationships can be extremely beneficial to both people and help them improve
