You would think such a fact would stop them wanting to go, but no, they are going in ever greater numbers. You would think that colleges would be held liable for their failure in their duty of care, but that doesn't seem to be happening either.

Obviously, this is misuse of statistics, something we see a lot of from the feminist/academic/woke mob.

As the article said, that survey defines "any sort of unwanted contact of a sexual nature" as "sexual assault," up to and including unwanted hugging.

This makes me wonder how the number could be as low as 1 in 4. Hasn't every man, woman, and child in the world experienced unwanted hugging at least once?

There have been dozens of times in my life that women have gotten handsy with me when I wasn't into it. Have I been repeatedly sexually assaulted? Well, if I were a woman I could certainly wear the victim badge, but whenever I bring that up people just wince and tell me to stop minimizing women's struggles.

Is it possible that advances from people we aren't that into is really just a human problem? And perhaps shouldn't be conflated with literal rape?

Colleges have become a hotbed of feminist sexual liberation, college women will tell you they want to sleep around because relationships are patriarchal, never wondering if the lifestyle choice is the issue, yet they still find time to complain about golden penises.

I often see signs, Twitter bios, and other slogans condemning the tendency to say “boys will be boys” and “she was asking for it.” The problem with these slogans is that no one actually holds these positions.

I've said this again and again. Nobody, but nobody, responds to rape with "well, boys will be boys"...nobody.

the reality is our society, police, and courts treat rape as literally one of the most serious crimes possible. To the point that actual legal rights of the accused are ignored.

the "1 in 4" propaganda goes back to the mid 1980's at least, it's never been founded in fact or science, just self serving campus surveys that count "attempted unwanted kissing" as "sexual assault".

Feminism is not an ideology founded on facts or even good intentions.

Even BBC Radio 4’s regular programme on statistics “More or Less” covered the “one in four” myth, and thoroughly debunked it.

The methodology by which the women got her data was breathtakingly biased.

It was akin to going to a prison, and asking people of they were convicted criminals, and concluding that 100% of the population were law breakers.

Can we pin a thread with misleading studies? There seem to be a lot of studies whose headlines are massaged by inaccurate or suspicious data. It would be a great resource for us. We could have individual posters make a case for a study to be added to the list and other users could verify if a study seems suspicious or not.

I've dealt with 5 cases of rape in my life. 2 of the cases were completely legitimate. The woman was absolutely sexually assaulted, and there's no doubt in my mind. The men were pieces of shit and should have been terminated.

However, the other 3 cases were completely fabricated. In one case, she use to hit her bf for months, for no reason. I used to see her smacking him every once in awhile, for whatever transgression he was doing. It was only when he tried to exit the relationship, that she cried abuse. He had to leave in the second semester of second year to fight the allegations.

In another case, the woman's perception of what had happened the previous night changed, and she decided, that although she didn't vocalize her feelings, that it constituted rape. The police showed up at my door, asking about the incident, and I couldn't believe. She had been overtly flirtatious to me for hours, but luckily for me, I had a poker tournament the next morning, and declined. The one time my gambling addiction actually paid off. However, when I was recanting the story to the officer, he treated me like I was lying. Like I was covering for my buddy, and at the end he had audacity to say "and you'll testify to this in court?" Aka, you'll commit perjury for your buddy and risk jail time in court. I looked at him straight in the eyes and said it's the damn truth. I have a very good memory, as close to photographic as they come, and I'm allergic to alcohol. I was stone cold sober the whole night. It's disgusting to me the way men are treated, GUILTY until proven innocent.

The last case is a woman with a drug addiction, and severe mental delusions. The first time I met her, she told me a story about her previously love interest making unwanted advances on her. I took her at face value, but later, after we became friends, her next love interest used to "roofy" her and she was concerned that she'd been assaulted but couldn't remember. The third time she made this claim, I ghosted her. A delusional mind seeing what she wanted to see.

So in my life, I've seen 1/5 false police reports, that could have ruined my friends life. I've seen 1/5 cases where the woman couldn't handle rejection, and for revenge reported him to police. And I've seen 1/5 cases go unreported, from a sick a mind of a Coke addict.

This is why Believe all women is SO DANGEROUS. The statistics prove something similar, it's something like 2/3 cases of reported assault the evidence is not overwhelming enough to lead to a trial. The spin doctor's say that less then 5% of allegations are false, but in reality, the evidence suggests that the number is significantly higher, as they simply call it not enough evidence to go for prosecution.

They try to make rape and sexual assault seem like a big deal to keep people fearful but the reality is it is very rare. False allegations are far more common than rapes and yet no one talks about it. Women want to be the victims so they lie about sexual assault and don't care what men they hurt. Sexual assault and rape trials should be paused until women start being held accountable for lies and we can start determining which are real and which are fake. The current system isn't working for men.

Universities are ran by women so it's their fault, if it were true. However, it goes the other way. If the universities were safe, it's the credit of the women who run them.

Well, yeah, if you do the math there it's like 20x the actual FBI stats on rape for the entire country, let alone just college.
