Yesterday was tough, and I need a place to vent ... so why not do it to internet strangers that can relate what I'm going through?

Starting in March, my cheating soon-to-be-ex-wife and I agreed to retain custody of our 3yr old son 50/50.

It seemed like every other week, she dug up new, often trivial reasons to move the goal post to 60/40. At one point, threatening to take him 100% because he said a mean thing to her, and she tried to blame it on me. Another time because he wouldn't listen to her and honor his bed time routine at her apartment. (I am trying to keep the family home).

I fought back hard to keep it at 50/50.

After a ton of emotionally draining back and fourth, I finally agreed to 60/40 until he is 4 years old. She said she'd have an updated parenting agreement to me by Friday June 9th for me to review and sign. Well, guess what.. it didn't happen.

When I went to her apartment to pick up my son for the weekend on Saturday June 10th, I ask where the agreement is. She says she doesn't know.. maybe next week.

On Monday, she notifies me that she now wants to move the custody of our son to 70/30 indefinitely. Again, for trivial reasons.. like that he asked her "why mommy and daddy don't live together?" And because I didn't check-in with her daily a few weeks ago when he wasn't feeling well.

In my opinion, these are life-changing decisions for our son made on a whim by a few trivial issues. It just frustrates me to no end, and boggles the mind. It seems like she is more interested in having complete control of our son's life, and not in co-parenting at all.

The biggest problem I have is that she knows I am leveraged. I payed out to her most of our savings to keep the home, and she knows I'd have to go through an expensive refinance to drag this through court.
