I was thinking the other day about Divorce and downsides for men in general.

But then I realized there really is a pretty big benefit for women to blow up their marriages.

  • They get cash and prizes on final exit
  • They get a steady stream of income for just breathing
  • They don't have to attend to their ex-husbands needs anymore
  • They no longer have to ask husband for access to money, or approve big purchases
  • If the kids are in some way impacted by divorce she can always blame the ex-hubs
  • If she manages to snag a new man to support her she gets that support PLUS assets from her ex-marriage to feather her nest
  • If life goes bad, they can blame the ex-hubs for taking all her "best years"

As much as I hate to admit it (being a victim). It's a great deal to make it happen for a woman, I think.

It's like western world law heavily incentivizes a woman to exit.
