I think they do realize it; but they don't want to say this. First, they need a shitton of beta bux men available for use and exploitation when they finally figure out that ChadBradThadTyrone aren't committing. Second, they're virtue signaling and don't want to look shallow. They think saying "personality" and "confidence" and "nice" are attractive makes them "better people" than men. They think it makes them morally better.

Whenever you hear women talk about liking personality or confidence, you must add to it "in a man who I think is hot".

Women won't ever say this because they don't want to look shallow or superficial. They're virtue signaling. As a woman, I’m a big believer that attractiveness emits out of your energy field. Doesn’t matter if you look like a Chad or not. I try to be open minded when it comes to looks, however, I can get a good baseline on your inner world (your thoughts, emotions, general self care and energy) by a face reading and body language. IT ALL STARTS THERE. Get your inner world in order and you’re going to be a catch. Personally I don’t want to be with someone with low self esteem, bitterness and judgement towards women, and a less developed mind … Women want confident men. If you are stuck in this state of -I’m not enough- and comparing yourself to what you think women want that you don’t have… and placing all the blame and judgement on women .. then of course you’re going to attract that experience. So change the narrative. The sooner you do the work the sooner you see things change for you.

I’m a woman and I know that. I honestly thought we all understood that attraction was a prerequisite and something that separates those I think are attractive and the people I would want to date.

Even for friends, I like being around confident people who are similar to me in terms of goals and trajectory in life.

Generally speaking, yes, I think they're aware of this. I would further hypothesize that what's happening is that they view their own "looks threshold" as broader and more fluid than you do. Thus, they imagine there are a good number of men who are physically attractive enough that they would be overall attractive if they were charismatic and confident.

In my experience here, most blackpillers would find this delusional, believing that women's thresholds are actually very firm and highly limiting.

In my experience in the real world, both of these are somewhat true to varying extents with different people. It IS true that a lot of good-looking guys get passed over because their personalities aren't attractive. However, those are just the good-looking guys, and doesn't tell us anything about average guys or below, who are often not seriously considered in the first place.

Realistically, there has to be some level of physical attraction between two people for a relationship to work. No, the guy doesn’t have to be a CHAD, and yes Personality and confidence are a part of that overall attraction.
