In this petty process, she wants to change our children’s last name to include her maiden name too. Which I think is ridiculous as they are now older and know their names. And I think is just really unnecessary and a low blow.

My question is it even legal for that to be done without both parents signing off on that? I’ve researched a little and found varying results which most say if one parent isn’t involved in the child’s life which is definitely not the case
