I believe the people who end up on this forum are mostly overthinkers. Most of the advice here is overthinking. Sometimes it works, in a "I'm not good at swimming so let me attach a motorboat engine to my butt" kind of way. Other times it just doesn't work at all.

Here's all the advice I think you really need: 1. Be your best self 2. Create opportunities to meet women 3. Flirt and try to connect 4. Profit

You learn how to flirt by doing it, but the essence is getting accross the idea that you like her but in a non-needy, playful kind of way.

IMO it's a matter of motivation, not genes. Those that really want to get good at this game will force themselves to get good no matter what they're missing.

I didnt have the stomach for this game nor the traits to excel until I was dying of thrist and basically forced myself to figure this stuff out.

I'm normally not a fast learner either but starvation has a way of pushing you along.

As to guys that are naturals, the reoccurring thing I've noticed is they hung around other guys who were also good with women are just decent male role models. It's the only thing I can think of as to why they cant explain why what they do works, they just had great role models to mirror that just feel natural to them.

Dont think its Genes but rather upbringing.

In a vastly chaotic world, these rules will always apply. Some people are naturally gifted at math, some people aren’t. Some people dunk like Shaq, some people don’t. Some people will be naturally gifted with women, some will not.

You can’t simplify that as a missing gene. Human biology and evolutionary nature are incredibly complex. Either way, it doesn’t mean you can’t learn it – it’s just not your natural disposition.

I grew up extremely introverted and without a significant male role model to show me how to approach women. Or even how a healthy relationship looks. I did a lot of researching and practicing in my youth as I wanted a women in my life.

Overall I feel what works best is to just stop thinking so much. I swear some guys get so in there own head, they become robotic when they approach. Like just picture that the girl is another guy friend, except you want to sleep with them haha. Don’t take them so seriously. Life will continue if things don’t work out with them. I for one use humour, sarcasm, and unearned confidence to win women over. I often consider alot of women that I have made out or slept with to be out of my league. If you can make a girl laugh thats all you need.

Yeah you're right on the dot. Most of the guys on this forum are ugly dudes who were never loved as a child and don't understand human interaction on a fundamental level.

I mean I used to be socially awkward and then just learned to be myself and own it. I can flirt with the RIGHT woman all day and night but there's personalities that I just wont mesh with, and tbh theyre probs ppl I wouldn't wanna be around anyways.

But there are millions of women out there, i've been on multiple dates and know I can socialized so why stress over people who dont wanna fuck with me? Plenty that do, and value me for me, both romantically and platonically.

Its called emotional inteligence. Pick up a 2y old boy and a 2 y old girl and show them photos of people.

Ask them what emotions the faces are expressing.

You will realize on average little girls at 2y are almost as effective as boys at 8y.

Boys are born clueless about non verbal language signs. Later some boys will learn it faster than others. But even these lucky fellows have another problem:

Girls body count grows much faster than boys. A 19f shared last month her tinder stats: 10+ body after 220 says on the app. Even a 10 boy at 19y would struggle to meet a fraction of that experience gain.

I would go as far as to say that gender roles have reversed: boys must learn how to improve his sex skills and girls must improve How to deal with her emotions. A boy with high emotional inteligence will handle better the 21st century. A boy with the ability to read body language faces dating like shooting fishes in a barrel.

No, people are not missing the gene. For a long time I used to think along those lines, that I'm somehow defective, etc. at the end of the day, dating and flirting are skills that you learn. Women tend to have much better social skills for a number of reasons. One I think is just their nature. Women are also more pack oriented than men and gravitate towards groups so they tend to develop social skills early on. For men it's very easy to fall into the loner trap and stunt your social skills growth.

All it takes is practice and exposure to new situations. You need to start talking to everyone and just giving without expectations or an agenda. The more relaxed and confident you grow, the more your social skills will improve. As a matter of fact, I've had women extremely interested in me and I never did anything to try and get them interested, ie no game. Just being a normal social dude.

Why does it matter? Even if you're missing a gene, how does that materially change your situation? Are you looking for an excuse to give up?

Every activity has people that progress more quickly. I used to be a competitive cyclist and knew guys like Remco Evenepoel who went from beginner to best in the world within a year. How does ruminating on that help you?
