Well the texts you sent weren't actually bad. Usually when people drunk text it's super simpy/needy or it's too blunt about wanting to fuck. But the bad news is unless they reciprocated the energy about wanting to meet up then that's the end of the road. The one that had grad apps is still an option in the very loosest sense where the only "play" is just talk to other girls and you can try one last time after her grad apps are done to see if she wants to hang out. If she REALLY liked you, she would make time to see you with grad apps. You either made the cut that she would hang out with you when her situation changes or she could just be uncomfortable with saying no and it is a dead end which is why you should pretty much consider it a dead end in the first place

I don't know why so many people are acting like this is fine. This was fucking stupid and don't ever do it again. That's not to say that you should beat yourself up over it but this is definitely not cool.

You did it very drunk which is fucking stupid. Almost certainly it sounded as needy and poorly worded as most drunk texts do to sober people. On top of that, if all of them turned you down then either these texts were bad (wouldn't be a surprise cause you were sloshed). Or your initial interaction was bad/not leading enough to be able to just text them like you did and ask them out. You either seem creepy or like a dumbass who doesn't understand social customs. And to top it off you fucking texted your HR rep drunk. This was an all around bad move.

Don't beat yourself up over this but don't for a second think this is fine. And do not let yourself do this again. You wanna ask someone out? Do it sober. Have some fun conversations with her ahead of time. Touch her a bit here and there. Find out what she's into and what makes her tick. Then decide if you actually like her. And if you do, then ask her out.

Nah bro you can’t just hit them with that all at once. I always start with just a “hey how’ve you been?” Or just a “hey how are you?” It opens up a small conversation and you just do the basic chit chatting, once the convo dies down then you hit them with the “you down to grab some coffee and catch up soon?” If you get a positive answer then move to planning time and location. This gives you an opportunity to kind of build some rapport, maybe it’ll open up a chance to slip a funny line in or even find some common ground between the two of you, and then you can even plan a date around that common interest. Just remember to be chill, be yourself, and keep the convo light hearted and fun, no need to rush things.
