Really, I've been wondering all this time.

When you look for articles on this topic most of the answers are the same: dress well, tidy up, have an active lifestyle, have a good job, be smart an curious, etc.

In my case, I: - Have a good job - I am considered smart and intellectual - Lead an active lifestyle (I'm a long distance runner; therefore, I need to gain more muscle) - I believe I have my own charm. Not a Ryan Gosling kind of charm, but at least something to get me by. - I'm a short guy (5 ft 4) and above average looking. But I never considered these traits a defect.

However, I don't have good luck in regards to dating. Mainly because I'm shy and experience bouts of low self worth and loneliness. During these episodes, I envy some of my friends for having better results. I've been working on this for a while with my psychotherapist because I want to get better. I had a rough upbringing and most of my issues and inadequacies can be traced back to it.

I want to hear your take on what being a high value man means.
