To illustrate my point, I’ll start with a famous thought experiment you might have heard of.

Imagine they’re a woman called Mary who has never in her life experienced colour. She’s spent her entire life locked inside a room where everything is black and white, including herself, but she has access to every single resource on colour vision. After years of study, she’s learned every single fact and piece of information about colour vision - she knows the different wavelength of the colours, how the eyes receive them etc. But then one day, she’s let out the room and sees colour for the first time. Despite all her book knowledge, Mary has learned something new after leaving - she’s learned what it’s like to experience colour.

The same very much applies with this sub. It drowns you in book knowledge about dating and seduction, which ultimately leads to your undoing. It means that, when you’re talking to a woman, instead of having an organic conversation, your mind is preoccupied trying to remember all the psychological tricks and lines you learned about online. In other words, you’re experts at seduction only in theory, not in practice.

I understand why people might do this. If you’re anxious and scared of talking to women, but want to do something proactive about it, then ‘studying’ how to do it seems productive and useful. But really it just lures you into a false sense of security, and means you miss the whole point of seduction completely - to be natural.

The absolute best way you can get better at seduction is not by studying, but rather learning through experience. If you use a line on a woman that backfires, you learn not to do say that next time. If you say something that makes her laugh or respond positively, you learn to say more things like that.

So please - if you’re a shy guy who struggles talking to women, please don’t cram your head with useless theory that’s gonna make you overthink simple things like talking to a another human being and stop you being natural. Start small - maybe just say ‘have a good day’ to a barista, and then talk to women more and more after that. And when you do, just let the conversation flow.
