Ok, I'll be clairvoyant and predict how it's going to happen. This is how it always happens. This is how it happened for me.

He'll get the woman basically cornered. She will start being evasive since she will notice this and wonder what the hell he's doing, but she'll say nothing. He will probably give her some symbolic token, like chocolate or roses. This will arouse more suspicion because it's so unlike him. Then he'll explain in rational, logical terms how he has developed feelings for her, how he loves her, and how she should give him a chance and then maybe she'll fall in love with him in return. He will give detailed, logical reasons why he is the guy for her, and why she is the girl for him. He will "lay out his case" and profess his love.

She will stare blankly at him the whole time, with a thousand thoughts running through her head. Mostly she will feel pressured. So even if she really likes the guy, she will say she's not ready for that, and Let's Just Be Friends.

Dude, you need to NOT do this if you ever want to get romantically involved with her.

The story is never complicated, the girl is never complicated and the situation is never complicated. She is either into you or not. You either know she is into you or you don't.

You know if she is into you by her indications of interest. These indications of interest can be encouraged by your behaviours and that is what pickup is all about.

But if you have not formed attraction in her, you will crash and burn and you will ruin a friendship. If it's a good friendship and not just about you projecting your neediness onto her, then you probably want to keep her as a friend. A friend that will also make a good pivot.

You don't get laid by telling a woman how great you are. You show her.

Can you elaborate on the method you plan to use? What words you will say? We might be able to give you some advice. Generally sappy "love confessions" do not work on many girls.

Don't take large leaps with a friend. And if you do, do it through actions, not words. Have intimate conversations. Touch her more. If she likes it, she will do the same.

I'm not saying it is 100% impossible to make this work verbally. But there is no reasons not to use actions instead. It is way more romantic to use actions.
