I ask her how many roofies she wants in her drink. They usually respond with something like "two is good."

Likewise if I have to go to the bathroom I push my drink over to them and say "I takes at least three rioofies to get me going."

I personally respond with a dry 'Yeah, good luck' or maybe some other light joke. In the mean time I find someone else to talk to, because I'm not waiting for her to come back from the bathroom (needy). Also, when she comes back, don't immediately ditch the person you were last talking to just to go back to her.

I believe bathroom breaks are also a great way to measure attraction. If she comes back from the bathroom and goes straight back to you, it's a fantastic IOI. If she immediately goes back to her friends, I personally consider her not attracted and move on.

There is no "best thing to do." I"m not sure why this requires a lot of thought. People say they're going to the bathroom all the freaking time.

A buddy says they're going to the bathroom, and you say, "Okay." You don't need to jockey for control when he does that.

Similarly, if your date says they're going to the bathroom, it's not a big fucking deal.

Wait a second though: Just what is the context for your theoretical here?

Are we talking about a theoretical girl you're on a date with?
Or a theoretical girl you're talking with at a party or other social gathering?

If I tell her that I expect her to come back or even I follow her to the bathroom then I will come off as needy.

Well yeah, following her to the bathroom or telling her that you expect her back would be insecure and/or creepy.

But where is all this coming from to begin with? This whole question of what to say when a girl goes to the bathroom, is making a mountain out of a mole-hill

So I'm thinking of saying "Nice talking to you" as a way to break rapport / push pull.

Look, if she doesn't prioritize being around you, unless you go flirt with other girls, then it comes down to what you want.
