If the girl knows this, either directly by knowledge, or indirectly through the guy's demeanour, then yeah; the chances of the girl dating the dude gets significantly lower.

As for cheating, that's always possibility, though the chances are depending on the girl's personality. In this case, a LSS guy wouldn't even get the date at all to maintain a relationship.

Any girl can cheat on you at any time. Worrying about it won't ever change that. It also turns you into an asshole if it's consuming your thoughts everyday you're with her.

Relating to social status, a woman only knows your status based on social cues. If I walk into a bar or restaurant and I joke with every person I see on the way in, then I've created a social circle. If later I'm talking to a woman I brought on a date and the bartender stops to chat and joke with me, then my date sees I'm socially acceptable.

She won't know if I'm a basement dweller though. She won't know if I have zero friends I hangout with either. She will only see how others have treated me in social interactions.

Social status is something you can create everyday of your life and it's something you can learn to do. If you choose to avoid society, then why do you even want a girlfriend? She's a part of society, so you've got some conflicting desires that you need to reconcile and choose which you want more.

You can either be a salty, whiney, emotional recluse or you can try to play society's game. Only one of those leads to a fulfilling and long life.

Not every man can be tarred with the same brush.

I know a few REALLY stunning women who have been out with nobodies. It was their personality & looks that won these women over, not social status.

In about 80% of situations, social status is the # 1 or high #2 factor behind getting really attractive chicks.....

In places such as high school, or places such as small close knit southern US communities many girls are fucking the status of the dude more than anything else.

The larger the community with loosely connected relationships such as true metropolitan cities (NYC, Miami, London, San Diego, Dallas, etc ), the more that a person's personality, style and attractiveness can be used to attract various partners.

Helps a fair bit but let's be clear what I mean here.
If you are king of the hill in whatever social scene/subculture etc, it will draw women to you.

BUT...

The same is true if you are out with friends eating dinner or at a bar and you are confident, have strong posture, get along well with all the wait staff, are laughing and show you are having a good time and seem like a guy people would want to get to know.

If you go out ALONE to a club/bar, you can create very high social status in an hour or two by approaching everyone, groups, couples, male, female, bar staff, bouncers, djs whatever and making friends with everyone, having a good time, self amusing and not giving a shit. You will radiate confidence and women will notice you, and will notice you getting along with everyone, talking to hot women etc and will wonder "What is it about this guy? Everyone likes him. He's so confident to approach them. I want to get to know him". I do this a lot and I'm below-average looking, not jacked, wear cheap clothes, never dress sharp, am not meticulously groomed etc but after an hour or two of having a fucking awesome time in a venue like this, hot babes start approaching me one after the other (women are very competitive BTW).
Then hot babes see hot babes approaching me and more and more start to approach me (FOMO). It's insane, but this is how you generate social status without actually having any social status. Doesn't matter if you live in your mom's basement, are broke, short, fat, ugly, stupid, unemployed and post on reddit.

I mean, I don't have too many friends but those I do have I'm really tight with. It's something I'm working on improving though because it's in the top 5 of the nagging aspects of my life currently. If you're working on making friends and all that, it's not a bad thing. Also, depends how old you are. Then it becomes more about job, living situation, etc.

Male friends don't indicate social status.

Being seen with women who are touching you and smiling, or often seen with women on your arm is an indicator of social status.

Strong, independent women don't give a flying fuck about your guys friends (or lack thereof). They're looking for a man who isn't afraid to be a lone wolf, and carve a determined path himself in this world.

Compare and contrast frat boys (behaving like spike bucks) with the lone adventurer in the wild west who carves out a cabin in the woods, hunts his own meals, etc...

That guy always seems to have a woman at his side, and the frat boys have each other.

And no, most women won't cheat on you when a man of a higher social status comes by, as long as you are showing up the best you can everyday. This mean focusing on career, fitness, being emotionally-centered and playful.

I've seen poor men, or men with just "okay" jobs keep gorgeous women in their lives (women who've dumped CEO's or businessmen) because these men act like a man - emotionally-centered, slightly indifferent and playful.

In it of itself, being a loner/introverted isn't a turn off. It is a turn off when a man isn't pursuing his own interests else where, though.

Social status is a myth. Its really how you handle yourself when it counts (aka when you're talking to a woman).
