I haven’t cold approached a girl in a long time now because of the pandemic, and I look back to a time when I approached a woman in the street who then told me that what I was doing “doesn’t work”.

It’s getting into my head that whenever I see a beautiful woman, whether it’s at the park or at a food court or her working as a cashier, it seems rude or socially unacceptable to stop her in her tracks to tell her she’s beautiful and try to get her number. Although I’m sure centuries ago men had to straight up introduce themselves to a woman and inform them of their romantic interest.

Nowadays people seem to have no problem with going to bars and clubs where it is said that “people go there to meet new people” and encourage online dating which i believe is not too dissimilar to cold approaching, except that online eliminates the girls that are unavailable to date (eg in a relationship/married, taking a break from dating, etc).
