Circumcision creates a permanent scar that is simultaneously painful yet also the most sensitive part of the circumcised penis. When you feel sexual pleasure it comes from that scar. The fact the most sensitive part of your penis is scar tissue should tell you something is off.

In America it's commonly believed the glans is the most sensitive part because Americans don't have a foreskin to compare it to. The glans is pressure sensitive, not touch sensitive. The movement of the foreskin actives stretch receptors called Meissner's corpuscles which generates pleasure.

I have been restoring for 17 years. Having the corona of my glans protected eliminated 99% of the chaffing problem I had.

Circumcision was designed to reduce sexual pleasure. The fake health benefits only came about later when adults wanted to keep forcing it on children. It's only done to children because adults with foreskin like having full sexual pleasure and the protective hoody.

So as a little bit of a forward to this, I'm against male genital mutilation because it violates your bodily sovereignty. You don't own your body. If you can't make decisions about it. Only 1/16,667 intact males will have a problem with their foreskin. One hundred and seventeen babies die from circumcision a year in the US, which equates to 9/100,000 babies that die each year from a cosmetic surgery. Just a comparison of 16,667 women, 2,084 of them will get breast cancer. In the same number of men 17 will get breast cancer. Infant Circumcision literally kills 2 boys for every adult spared circumcision and ruins the lives of 667 for every adult. Men have lost their penis, glans, and suffered from deformity caused by the operation performed when they were infants. It isn't right that these children pay the price for a decision that their parents made, a decision that should be left up to the owner of the penis. Even those who survive still have problems, though they are seldom discussed. It is for these reasons that the person who has to use the penis, should be the person who decides what happens to it. His body, his choice.

If you are male, you can do without your nipples. So what's wrong with cutting them off babies? Cutting a child's penis is just as wrong as if you cut off his nipples.

Foreskin exists to protect and lubricate the glans, similar to why we have eyelids. You wouldn't recommend removing eyelids just because you got some eye infection, would you?

You wouldn't know the downsides since you haven't experienced both intact and circumcised as an adult for sufficient period of time. A child born blind wouldn't miss seeing in the same sense of the term.

As someone who got circumcised in my late 20’s and comes from a “third world country”, I never had hygiene problems, I always peeled back the foreskin and put some soap and good to go. Never had an infection.

Why I got circumcised? My foreskin started to get dry and small lacerations to appear, it made it painful and the problems continue tru months, I finally got tired of it and got circumcised.

Do I regret? No, besides losing a little sensitivity I don’t feel that there has been big changes.
