The opposite is a common phrase that gets thrown around a lot when talking about the reasons why women should "postpone" sex. I think this isn't a real thing. Women are way more emotional than men, but that only means that (good) sex is just an "emotional peak" they feel. An emotion they've already got before sex, that got amplified by such a physical interaction. On the contrast, men usually engage with their dates with a hope for sexual activities, and each one of these activities (if they're good) will increase men's engagement, and love. I claim its all the other way around: men engage a lot more after sex.

It happened to me with my ex (the girl i loved the most). I didn't feel a great love for her, nor was thinking about a LTR. When we had sex for the first time she actually did such a great job that made me think about a LTR. With a little more connection and compatibility, we ended up in a monogamous relationship. The relationship didn't last a lot, because she wasn't the best person in the world, but the fact is that i fell in love with her, and the sex i was getting was one of the reasons for it. Why should i believe the opposite?
