This is largely an issue of what’s deemed appropriate or acceptable between genders but I swear now the weather is above 15c (60 for 🦅) a lot of people are naturally wearing less but no matter the scenario a sleeveless vest on a woman is never seen as dirty/unkept like it is on a man. I tattoo for a living and I have to work in a basement where it gets superheated so it’s most comfortable for me in summer but I swear doesn’t matter if it’s the person I’m dating, my family, randoms, why is it always referred to like that? Isn’t it weird it’s a norm, especially in the UK?

Ok let’s take another short item of clothing for women. Miniskirts. Everyone likes miniskirts right? Well what if society collectively started calling them slut tubes. Would that be ok? No! So if slut shaming or demeaning a woman based on how she looks is wrong why label men the same demeaning way? (Or making dumbass assumptions for teh lulz)

I’ve worked around corporate environments too and even when it was 40C (100+) I had to wear jeans in the office as well as every other man because shorts were ‘unprofessional’, but dresses of any length or style, crop tops whatever was totally cool.

Anyway just bugged me lately. Thanks for listening.
