The definition of cold approach means that you haven’t gotten any signs of interest from her. If she’s giving you signs then it’s called a warm approach.

Generally speaking looking for signs is going to give you way better results and way less rejection. But there are times where you see a girl you like and have to talk to her regardless. You shouldn’t really think about it that much.

In nightgame you’re going get more signs than daygame too. You don’t need to wait for signs ever. You simply tell the woman the following to start the conversation:

You: Hey, i want to ask you something real quick before i go”
Her: What
You: “Well i saw you and i loved your style (or anything specific about her) so i thought i I want to get to know you because i would regret it if i didn’t try, is that cool with you?”
Answer 1: Yes sure, nice to meet you…
Answer 2: Sorry i have a boyfriend/not interested.
Your response to answer 2: “That’s cool, just had to try thank you though, bye bye”

See how simple it is? You ask for consent right away like i just show you, and that way you don’t have to read her mind or make interpretations of her behaviour.

Just think about it, she doesn't know anything about you, she doesn't know that you like her and you're interested, she's busy thinking on other things and might not have noticed you, there are a lot of reasons why she might not give you signs but she could still like you
