It’s possible but I’ve seen the opposite more.

Women with HBC usually get bored faster with partners. They’re used to a rotating door of new suitors, so expecting someone with hyper sexual tendencies and an obsession with novelty to want the same dick over and over again is low.

Women I knew who were promiscuous usually end up in some cheating scandal or dead bedroom (I’d assume because their sexual & novelty needs aren’t being met + they value their partner enough not to cheat = Trading sex they enjoy to stay with a man they love + stability, sexuality tanks as it becomes less about intimacy / fun and more a chore. Even further once kids are brought into the picture.)

Sex is only one part of the equation in a relationship. People trade great sex for stability, personality, money, status or good looks all the time. Also while the oxytocin thing is true, it doesn’t correlate with the data. Higher body count = way higher chance of divorce.

Some people aren’t meant to be monogamous and that’s fine. Read r/deadbedrooms for a better picture

This matter is far more nuanced than you're giving it room for, because different women have different behaviors. They have sex for different reasons and have different types of attachment to the people they have sex with.

All of that good sex will lead to lots of oxytocin, which will deepen the bond that these two lovers will share.

This isn't how "bonding" works. Oxytocin isn't a love potion that increasingly binds two people together when they experience it. People who have good sex DO develop positive feelings for each other, but those positive feelings don't guarantee COMPATABILITY, nor do they guarantee loyalty or stability. A person (because men AND women both experience this) can enjoy sex with one person, and then go on to have sex with A DIFFERENT person and also enjoy that.

I'm not even suggesting HBC correlates with cheating or lack of bonding - Even monogamous couples with LOW body counts aren't guaranteed to "bond for life".

You can't tell anything about a woman who's had sex other than that she's had sex. There is no secret short-cut to figuring out if you'll be compatible or not, you still have to spend months and months (and years and years) getting to know her, whether she has a HBC or not. And sometimes, after spending all that time together, the only thing you can conclude is: "We're not compatible."

I think that people tend to stay with patterns they've established.

People who sleep around a heap in my experience are novelty-seekers, or using sex as a substitute for something else.

It's possible that novelty-seekers will get over it, or people using sex will get therapy - but if I were a betting man, and absent further context, I'd say that's unlikely.

That said - I don't think there's anything inherently wrong or "damaging" about someone having a bit of a hoe phase - sometimes novelty-seeking is a way of learning about yourself.

But - man or woman - if you've racked up a body count in the triple digits over a period of years, it'd raise all kinds of red flags to me if I was looking for something serious.

Both men and women with HBC tend to have fewer and shorter lived relationships. A partner with a HBC will likely not stick around long enough to work through things. Plus the risk of STD with HBC folks
