Granted, some people are just that ugly, so my advice can only go so far. Men on here don't seem to understand how much of an advantage men have in some parts of dating. One of those advantages I see play out time and time again is that men are judged on a wider variety of things. Men on here claim that women have it easier because they only have to be pretty or average and not be the type to slash an ex's tires, because they misinterpret what women being attracted to a wider set of traits means. And not realizing that if she's ugly, goodbye any chances of casual sex with a guy who finds her attractive and wont just use her as a shameful masturbatory aid. A lot of men think it means that they must be muscular, tall, competent, handsome, intelligent, and stoic to get a decent amount of casual sex.

They then claim that 80 percent of women share 20 percent of men, not realizing that a LOT of those men aren't even close to having a majority of those traits. What those men do have in common, is that they stand out in some way. Yeah, a lot of them are gonna be handsome, but a lot of them aren't. A lot of them are intelligent, or really confident, or funny. But of course some miserable, jaded fuck is gonna be like "why would I play the part of dancing monkey when good looking guys gets sex from them easier?" Not realizing how stupid it sounds to not want to make yourself more attractive just because a small portion of men are born with the ability to get it easier. They also assume, that the more men try to make themselves interesting, the more demanding women are gonna get, not realizing that a lot of gorgeous women who gets loads of attention from men find a man attractive just from him standing out a little. They assume standing out is zero sum, like only a small portion of men can truly stand out, not realizing there's loads of things that can make a guy stand out, and that every guy could stand out in a unique way. And that for every positive way of standing out, there is a woman who's into that, and that you just need to know your niche.

Most men nowadays are only unique in what anime/tv shows/video games they like. No passion, not smarter than average, not physically attractive. What do most men have to offer a woman who probably wears makeup and has a style? Women are raised to improve their looks for men, they're taught that if they don't, men wont like them. If women have to put in effort to improve their looks, why can't men strive to be above average in some way? Yeah intelligence and good looks are arguably mostly genetic. But knowledge, wittiness, and confidence aren't. Hobbies aren't as well, and being able to connect emotionally with women through shared interests is going to help you a lot.

I'm fairly average and nerdy looking. Skinny arms and legs, bit of a potbelly too. I've been diagnosed with autism, adhd, and gad. I was born into a world where almost everyone seemed to be on a different wavelength than me. My only saving grace is that I'm intelligent, and have a burning desire to understand everything. And yet I've had plenty of women interested in me. A few even outright asking me out. Throughout most of my time in school, I had at least 1 woman showing signs of interest at any given time. I was very awkward back then, still am to some extent, but it isn't the death sentence men make it out to be.

I stood out because I showed my intelligence (not in an obnoxious way), I got straight A's, I talked about deep topics frequently, and questioned how the world works a lot. And as a result, while a lot of women aren't into that, a lot are. Again, you have to know your niche. Play into your strengths and stop being someone you're not. And stop expecting attention from women who aren't into your strengths. A lot of you introverted nerds would benefit from joining a dnd club, not hitting up girls at a bar
