I’ve been able to take gals home from the bar or club a handful of times, but far more often I struggle or whiff on a clear opportunity. I feel like the way to overcome with is just continued practice at the bar or club, but I run into some obstacles that I don't know how to surmount:

1) going out consistently wears me down very very quickly. I enjoy it, but drinking fucks with both my mood and productivity for the next few days.

2) sometimes I approach plenty and still don’t get anyone that seems interested in talking

3) I don’t know how to pivot. If I’ve been focusing on one person and suddenly they have to leave/their friends are pulling them away, usually the night feels too far gone to start with someone else

4) the music is often too damn loud and overwhelming and I can’t hold any worthwhile conversation-which is where my personality and convo skills shine

5) I pivot away from someone who's interested too early because I’m trying to coordinate/stick with my friend group, I get anxious/insecure that they're using me for free drinks, or otherwise I get nervous because I've run out of things to talk about or because I'm focusing on one person within a group

The night moves so fast and I have a hard time keeping up. How do yall manage? Any advice?
