I wonder how much of this is women in HR and the resulting policies that discriminate against males. White women, particularly liberal ones, don't want to see other people better off and will do everything to make your life miserable if you aren't in their clique. It's also called queen bee syndrome in the workplace. We all saw how monsters like Zoe Quinn invaded gaming and caused good and innocent men to commit suicide. They will pretend to be on your side but then backstab you when you least expect it.

I’ve read crazy anecdotes of DEI gone wrong . One guy on Reddit somewhere was like .. they were told they had to hire the woman over the man despite the woman not being qualified and the man tons of experiences and fluent in several languages etc

The woman last three months and cost the company 200 grand he claimed

If DEI had benefited black and Hispanic men then then it would have been canceled a long time ago.

Instead the programs gave even more privilege to the most privileged group in society: white women.

I think we should have DEI programs that help men. Or at least groups of men.

Of course white women are the major beneficiaries. Notice that a lot of them are now marching and protesting? That’s why I’m glad all these DEI programs are going away. Black people have never benefited from these programs.

In the non profit I worked at 90% of the staff are white women. There was a token white guy and a couple Latinas also white passing.

It's an organization that is 90% white woman top down. And they keep talking about diversity and inclusion every meeting. I was the token Asian woman. It was hard to not laugh but I said the right words so I don't get outed. Sometimes I wonder if everyone knows it's all bs deep down or if they really buy in to the words they say.

God forbid simply letting nature handle its own course in terms of race and gender. There may be a more Machiavellian reality of elitists exploiting profits off of current perception management campaigns with such programs - providing an illusion of benefit to those involved.

A lot of the comments I'm reading don't address the positive spin they put on this article. These people really think that white women are an underserved group (at a majority of executive positions now). They're not living in reality.

It's helped women of color a lot too. I heard that the percentage of black women who go to college is now higher than the percentage of white men who go to college.

Just logically speaking—

White women are the biggest beneficiaries of handouts, period

Child support
Alimony
Divorce settlements
Gender-based business funding
DEI programs
Hiring quotas
College enrollment programs

It’s a pretty long list & the hiring one is very problematic because the jobs that they often gravitate to (white collar) have become highly feminized

Video game industry is a great example of how liberal women & LGBT came in, then started changed the “culture”

They get in, then hiring each other

Black men didn’t benefit from any of that shit for exanple

Interesting thing I've seen, in the field of Computer Science, I rarely ever see any "White" women in it!

It's just not a "women" thing, since there are plenty of women, but they are generally East Asian, South Asian or Middle Eastern. Even the "White" women I see are generally from Eastern Europe.

Yep, I think I was a DEI hire for my current job, and despite not doing great at it, I'm not fired. I'm quitting soon at 14 months in to move abroad and work in my field again. But I think I was hired as a woman and a mom to check some boxes. It was a great job to do in the first year postpartum to be home with my baby, so that's cool, so I hope the next person who gets my spot is a POC parent, to restore some balance. Heck, they'd probably be better at the job than me!

(From a women) While that is highly concerning, and upsetting, when DEI was rolled back my concern wasn’t the rollback of additional protections for women.

I worried that my medical issues would no longer be protected. And that my male family members who benefit from DEI due to medical issues would no longer have those protections.
