This is something which bothers me quite a bit as well, the way I look at it is lots of guys (and even women nowadays) are becoming worse and worse socially, possibly from being a generation which was raised/babysat by electronics so they want instant gratification and don't have much interpersonal skill- so this is a sort of double-edged sword, the women don't see a reason to talk to you when they can get instant "Likes" of their FB pics or tweets or whatever and many guys can't read signals so if a woman is nice to them then they are much more likely to think "she's nicer than most women to me, she must be interested in me." So this encourages rude behavior, imagine if you were a woman that was a 9 or a 10, everywhere you go guys would want to bang you, if you were nice to every one of them think of how much time that would take up, even guys that were a 1-3 would be more likely to think they'd have a chance with you. You'd have to reject guys all day, you'd probably get bitter about them wasting your time and there you go- think about the recycling symbol, ♻ : almost constant unwanted attention is at the top in this situation, if the woman is nice/meek to the guys even when uninterested then the ball just goes back to their side bc they think they still have a chance since she was good-natured about it or whatnot, so it'd be like a ping-pong game where the woman isn't giving her number to the guy, or whatnot, so they'd end up wasting each others time unnecessarily.

If on the other hand she was rude or stand offish then this discourages unwanted advances and saves both parties time, sort of like she's shooting from the hip without having to think much/react to each individual situation- so this is like she's skeet shooting, guy throws (what may be) an advance her way she shoots it with a shotgun without pulling the gun all the way up to aim.

Would you rather play ping-pong all day or get shot down occasionally? It's a question of energy expenditure, she saves energy and saves both parties time- the trick is to not get mad because she isn't usually reacting to you as an individual, she's just saving time and energy by discouraging men who are easily discouraged. So it's a shit test in a sense, the man who passes is the one who is unfazed bc he has other options and doesn't give a shit about her in particular.

My friend's sister is a 7-8 and she is really nice face to face, and in texts/email, and we've hung out a few times, I offered to make her lunch/dinner a few weeks ago and she said that it "sounded great" because she's trying to eat healthier and that's my specialty but when I try to set a date she just didn't respond. My old tendency would be to call/text her and say something about her wasting both of our time if she's not going to reply to a message when she already agreed that it was a good idea, but instead I'm just not going to message her again bc she did something similar about two months ago. Whether she was 'just being nice' or really does want to eat healthier but would rather party with her friends (like she does most weekends) it's the same thing to me, she wasted my time and she wasted her own time- it would have been better if she never replied to my first message or said something to discourage me from trying to set a date bc we could have both saved time and energy.

The questions we ask are very powerful, our minds have a nasty habit of answering them no matter how ridiculous the question is.

Why are you so stupid? Why do you always fuck up? Ever had thoughts like that? Those were just an example, rhetorical.

The thing is when you are angry, you want something to hit, and sometimes there is nothing to hit and you have no outlet for your anger. We are warriors after all, hunter gatherers, we are not meant for this society of rules and laws. We want to hear "gotham needs you" and get shit done. In another time you would have acted upon your urges already.

Unfortunately (or once you are past the anger phase fortunately) women have the uncanny ability of reading your energy and emotional state, and they can probably pick up you are angry, and unhappy. Think about the happiest you have ever been... if you said hi at that point radiating joy and life do you think they would be stand off ish? They can tell when you aren't at your best.

Just food for thought.

I find they need to notice you first, otherwise they think you're creepy and desperate.

No matter your smv if the context is bad you're going to be put in a bad category. For instance out at bars or clubs, they will mostly think you want to get laid unless your approach happens for a reason which doesn't appear phony.

If an ugly girl smiled at you and said hey at a bar you'd probably think she wants to fuck you and she probably would. Women get that everyday, they have built a fuck off complex for it.

Best advice I have is to actually break the barrier so they change their mind or get an organic method of approaching which doesn't come from banging first. Just smiling and hoping for it back is rare, don't count on it.
