I've mentioned this a few times up here but it is working out so fantastically for me that I will tell my latest story.

After watching the latest episode of The Chair Company by myself and right before the basketball game started my wife came in, sat next to and told me she would like to talk. When she announces it, she's always going to be a bitch.

She said she would like to talk about the Christmas schedule for the kids so I pulled out my phone and told her I was going to start recording the conversation. She said she didn't want to be recorded and her lawyer told her I couldn't do that. I told her my lawyer said I could (with my life experience managing call centers I probably know the laws better than both lawyers, but that's a different story). She said she was going to call the police. I gave her their number. She left.... and I think, called the police. I could kindof make out some bits of the conversation she was having in the other room. Either way, the police never came and my team won the basketball game. Good night, all around.

The next morning I could make out that she was speaking to her lawyer. By mid-day she told me she 100% approved my schedule for the kids. A rare win.

So, before I started this tactic of recording conversations the minute they turned contentious, I was a foul-mouthed abusive alcoholic who was constantly on the very of physically attacking my wife. After the recording started all of my bad tendencies magically disappeared and my wife doesn't want to argue with me. If I knew that this would shut the bitch up I would have started it years ago.
