No fault divorce is fine, it's the unfair asset division, unfair alimony, unfair loss of child custody, unfair calculation of child support, etc. that should be contested.

I'll be honest, I rather like the ability to file for a no-fault divorce. Sometimes you just fall out of love with someone or realize marriage isn't for you. I don't think anyone should have to explain the reason they want out aside from to the person they're leaving...

...unless they're demanding financial support or there are children involved who are going to be affected. You shouldn't be able to divorce for no reason and then expect alimony, custody of the kids, and/or child support. That's the part of American divorce law that needs to be addressed.

Why is no fault divorce a bad thing ? fault divorce only incentivising women to file fake DV and rape cases to get out of the marriage.

Conservatives are so stupid that instead of removing rewards for divorces, i.e 50/50 property distribution and unequal child custody law, they would rather force people to stay in unhappy marriages, which only incentivising more abuse of law and fake cases.

Too complicated dancing around the laws like this guy. What purpose does marriage fulfill in modern society?

Would it not be better to abolish all marriage and divorce laws and let people have to come up with their own legal arrangements. Maybe have some popular variants of union contracts on a government webpage to download.

Good. Nobody should be required to marry, but if you do marry, you should not be easily able to get out of upholding your vows.

Hey, it you are not happy in your device and you want to leave them fine! You should not get half of the material and financial holdings and full custody of the children and alimony and premarital assets without proving fault.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with no fault divorce. Anyone who is against it is extremely shortsighted or has not thought things through. It's the unfair laws and practices of asset division or alimony that destroy a man, not a no fault divorce itself.

His second divorce. Instead of suing to force a woman to stay married to him, perhaps he should do a little soul searching. Force a person to stay married to you? Your spouse simply goes out has affairs until you are willing to divorce him/her. Your spouse runs up the family credit card or buys a new Mercedes withthout your permission and you're on the hook for it. Your spouse calls the IRS to report your financial peccadilloes. I don't think a man wants to live with an enemy in his house. If she wants out, let her go. If your wife wants a divorce and you refuse, don't expect much of a sex life. He comes across like a control freak. His marriage is likely not salvageable because he is not willing to work on the real problems.
