One I noticed in France is girls putting themselves in my way or sitting near me.

There was this one girl, for example, who was walking her dog in the park. She'd walked all around and was on her way out, but before the last crossing by the fountain she saw me see her (I made eye contact and smiled). It was super obvious she was going to leave but instead she came and set on the bench next to me and did literally nothing, expecting me to talk to her.

There was another one in a store where there were a whole group of girls. I was into one of them and made that obvious. They were ahead of me in line and when we were leaving, all the other girls went ahead and that one just literally stood in my path blocking me so that I had to talk to her. 😁 I think some guys would just walk past her.

Similar things happened a few times. This has only happened once since I got back in Sweden, so I think it could be cultural. There have been times when it's obvious a girl expects me to talk to her, but it's not as obvious and to be honest I can't even be sure in those cases (especially since I don't always do it 😂)

Enough people have given good advice on this so far. So all am gonna say is to get great at spotting these signals you simply need to put in the effort to consistently go out, cold approach girls, talk to them and try to make things happen.

That's the only way in the long term your physiology learns about these "signals" and you kinda build a 6th sense.

If you’re asking for subtle, I recently had two sisters at different points in a night go out of their way to be mean to me or yell at me for seemingly no reason, something ridiculous. Later on each one was asking questions about my life and being really nice and sweet to me and smiling. I realized they were probably flirting by being mean in a weird way maybe like a shit test

Pretty much every subtle interaction may be a shy encouragement from woman for you to do something. Manage your seduction strategy in a way, so you won't come up too strong in the beginning, but at the same time you will figure out some situation where the girl can show whether she would like to invest more in your potential relation or not. If you struggle too much to make things happen, just give up and move on.

maybe this is subtle ( or maybe it's glaring ), but my biggest thing when i'm flirting is soft, but consistent eye contact. think puppy/doe eyes. another way is appropriately closing any physical distance between us.

I think it's better to just ask them than to rely on signs. Ask for their number. Ask them on a date. You get a clear answer and you get that answer immediately.
