Years ago I used to work out at a YMCA, which was kind of strangely structured so you couldn't get back to the gym area without going through either the women's or men's locker room/restroom.

One day I was in the men's and two teenish girls walked through at a semi-brisk pace sort of smirking at each other. Obviously on purpose/a dare. Luckily it was just me in there and I was fully clothed, but there were often naked middle aged men in there with lots of peni.

I told the front desk person, and as far as I could tell nobody did anything. Nobody checked security cameras to see who the girls were exiting the men's room.

In a classic "flip the genders" scenario: police would have been called, surveillance checked, and everyone questioned to find the offenders, who would have been arrested and charged. We live in a world with two different set of rules for men vs. women. Pussy is sacred dick is cheap

During my high school years, I dated a young woman whose mother worked at the district's central office, giving her unusual access to campus staff and facilities. She once revealed something disturbing to me: she would sometimes enter the boys' locker room under the pretense of chatting with coaches, who permitted her presence there. She admitted to watching boys as they changed, which left me feeling deeply violated. The betrayal came not just from her invasion of privacy, but from the coaching staff who should have been safeguarding our dignity.

Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident in our city. At the other high school I attended, gym teachers would have boys change their shirts in front of girls when selecting teams (We wore two-toned reversible shirts, with each side designed in complementary colors). Meanwhile, the girls were informed of their teams in advance and allowed to change privately, preserving their dignity.

The hypocrisy has always grated at me. Why were the girls' dignity and privacy protected while we boys were denied the same consideration?

Looking back, I can't help but wonder why the coaches allowed this, and why the girls didn't advocate for us when they witnessed this clear violation of our dignity.

These experiences have left me with a lasting sense of injustice about the double standards that were, and still are, allowed to exist.

I rarely watch movies or series anymore because they are all made to entertain women and belittle men. I read the IMDB reviews first and then almost always pass on the movie. I read about that scene. What bothers me is that scenes and situations like that are so common now women don’t think there is anything wrong with walking into any mens locker room and they know there will be no consequences.

In every mens professional, college, and even some high school sports women are in the locker room while men and boys are dressing and showering. Its not just the female reporters and camera women. Equipment managers, trainers, cleaning women, and any women associate with the team can and do go into the locker room while the athletes are showering. Women that aren’t even associated with the teams and have no reason to be in there can gain access if they know the right woman. I also think this is one of the reasons that so many women are taking jobs as equipment managers. Have you seen the number of women on the sidelines during NFL games? The NFL has increased the number of women employees by 144%. The media has completely normalized it by saying that the women are always professional and the men don’t care. And they aggressively attack any athlete or person that speaks up and says its not right. Of course, men are not allowed in any women athletes locker room while they are changing.

This is the topic that brought me to mens rights. I was curious why men don’t have the right to privacy. I understand the whole history of why they let female reporters in at the beginning. But I still don’t understand why men don’t have the right to privacy. One thing I found is that mens locker rooms have been deemed as a womens workplace. So any women that has a job requiring entrance can go in at any time that is convenient for her. And if there is a job that requires entrance you must hire women or it is discrimination. This topic really bothers me. Men just don’t have a right to privacy.

I find it odd that a scene like this can be shown on TV, probably to the surprise of most audience members who don't read about it in reviews beforehand, and it's absolutely fine. Yet in the same breath, the same people who laugh along with scenes like that lobby for (in the UK at least) "cyber flashing" to be considered a priority offence, as it'd it's worse than physical assault.

I get that no one wants to be sent "dick pics" non-consensually, but I would argue that a sudden graphic depiction of male nudity in a TV show would also come under the banner of non-consensually being shown nudity. Giving a generic warning that the show "may contain scenes of graphic nudity" isn't enough, in my opinion, to claim the viewer has consented. Basically, I'm calling out the hypocrisy that women will lobby for men and boys to be punished severely for a victimless, non-violent crime, while encouraging the very equivalent of it on mainstream TV.

Another example of picking and choosing who gets punished based on who they find attractive, I guess.

I’m not sure if this counts, but I noticed a similar phenomenon surrounding the show ‘The White Lotus’. Also quite known for its unapologetically explicit plot, script, and nudity. Specifically, in season 2, the known heartthrob Theo James was featured in a very explicit scene, yet he wasn’t completely nude, wearing a prosthetic penis.

That very same prosthetic inspired several mini social media campaigns and discussions about the use of prosthetics to avoid actual nudity. With women DEMANDING, not only actual nudity from Theo himself, but also from other actors such as Henry Cavill. Ironic, considering how vocal Henry has been with the discomfort of the public viewing him as little more than a sexual symbol. So not a reporter, but I actually do have an interesting story about this.

Back when me and my younger brother were younger, our mom had us in swimming lessons. It was at a school and it was after hours, of course. It was right after the class was done one night and we were in the locker room and my stepfather was there with us. We weren't naked or anything, but one of the moms of the other kids felt completely comfortable just walking in and voicing to her child to "hurry up, its time to leave." No care in the world that it was the boy's locker room and there could be people undressed.

My step-dad did NOT take kindly to this and actually escorted her out of the locker room. He was gone for a good 10 minutes or so, probably discussing with her why it was wrong for her to do that or something. Never saw her in there again after that, though. I was probably around 12 or 13 years old when this all happened.

Yes. When I was in college two girls walked through the male locker room while guys were changing. They were with the janitor who was taking them somewhere, I think. They were all eyes, looking around and smiling like in a candy store. Some guys were embarrassed, but some guys were kind of showing off.

Throughout my life, I've experienced numerous violations of my personal boundaries by strangers. Most of these incidents involved women, as they occurred in institutional settings like schools or military medical exams.

The most unsettling instance was during a physical exam where I had to stand naked in front of two female nurses. They were openly smirking and exchanging glances at my penis. It was cold in the room, I was anxious, and while I'm average in size, their obvious grins left little doubt that their thoughts were mocking and derogatory.

This one I have actually experienced a few times. I remember being at the urinal in highschool at lunch time and the cleaning lady walked in. I only turned around because she said 'oh hi'. She didn't leave to wait for me, she started scrubbing the sink. I've been to festivals which have urinals that are in the open. They're in a male only section, but there where areas in the security fence where people could look in from the outside of the bathroom area. I was at a date once in a jazz bar 2 years ago. I went to the men's bathroom and there where two women in there. I go to the urinal whole they're standing behind me. I start washing my hands and turn around and go 'this is the Men's bathroom right?' One of them laughs and says yes but the women's was full so they came into here. She then starts complimenting my hair and moustache. A year ago at that exact same bar, there was a large party of women where one of them was getting married. Im in that same bathroom and a woman comes in saying her friend is clumsy and lost her phone. No knock or nothing, just waltzed in.

I agree that women shouldn’t be just walk into men’s bathrooms and locker rooms like that, especially if they’re going to make a big deal about trans women going into their spaces.

But I like seeing male nudity in TV and film, though it usually is played as comedic rather than the male body being shown in a flattering way.
