I’m gay. People stereotype guys with less androgenic traits as bottoms. Which is annoying since whether you’re a top or bottom is what sex position brings you the most pleasure, not your femininity level. Not to mention the vast majority of gay guys both top and bottom

East Asians (on average, of course), are a bit shorter, have less body hair, and are far skinnier than the average white man. That’s just the phenotype there. I don’t know exactly how accurate it is but a lot of surveys do show them with a slightly smaller penis size too. All of these would get any guy stereotyped a bottom due to those “bottom = the woman” views. It’s not fair, but it’s just how it’s seen

For the exact same reasons, Asian women are also stereotyped as more feminine, it’s not just the men who get that treatment

asians are smaller and have more feminine features than other races. This is why asian women are often fetishized and asian men are emasculated. Its really not that complicated.

Fetishes typically play off of existing power dynamics and social preconceptions. Examining the underlying stereotypes involved in race play of any kind is always uncomfortable. No doubt, in the west Asian men are seen as comparatively less masculine, probably because on average they aren’t as hairy and have smaller builds.

I don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with getting off to a big white guy pounding the fuck out of a tiny Asian man’s asshole, or vice versa. People don’t pick what they’re into, and we don’t need the thought police explaining why it’s immoral to get a boner when Ilya fucks the shit out of Shane. There’s nothing more morally incorrect about that than the reverse would be.

Treating people differently based on fetishes outside of a fantasy scenario is where the underlying preconceptions become, IMO, problematic and racist.

Reddit is an American platform. America is a white majority country. White males have tended to be threatened by Asian males in history. Yellow peril, Mongol invasions, Huns, Pearl Harbor, Ottoman Empire, etc if you count West Asians as Asian. Africa or Lantin America never posed a threat to Eurocentric civilization, historically being victims of colonization and slavery hence the lack of anti Black or Hispanic male stereotypes.

Even today, China, Korea, Japan is the US main contender in AI, tech, robotics, Space race, music, film, pop culture, etc.

Men naturally want to mateguard so they use various underhanded means to smear their main sexual competition through media portrayals.

But in recent times this backfired because despite the stereotypes women around the world are enamoured by Asian pop culture (Anime, Kpop, games) and companies make more money selling content featuring Asian males.

You only need to go to Seoul to see tons of young Western women hunting for their dream Korean boyfriend. Oxford study is only relevant in countries where white men have more institutional power through simple numbers.
