It's typically a mixture of (A) not lacking access or exposure to adequate information AND (B) simply not desiring to seek it out WHILE (C) merely believing the information provided by their carefully curated and comfortable echo chamber.

They don't see male victims of violence as victims. They see us as "failed men". They also just do not take women seriously as agents, and they don't see violence from women as genuinely harmful, even when it kills people. That's why they constantly use infantilizing language with women like "girl boss". They see women as large infants and violence from women as little more than a tantrum that a "real man" should be able to "take".

If anyone seriously hurts a man, even another man, to them it shames the man, not the perpetrator. "Why couldn't you defend yourself?" "Why didn't you fight back?" In that sense we are where women were 100 years ago. They've spent decades steadily chanting "f*ggt" at any man traumatized by violence, any man who cries, any man who even wishes for a world without violence, to try their best to use homophobia to shame it out of them.

There is very little research into violence against men because the research that there has been was not flattering, to say the least. How many married women do you think would divorce their husband if he was raped, even by another man, which at least they agree is violent? It's astronomically high. Higher by leaps and bounds than the reverse. It suggested that feminism was wrong about certain things, and that could not be allowed.

Feminists now control the institutions that fund and conduct that kind of research, and they have shut it down for obvious reasons.

The issue isn’t that they’re poorly informed, the issue is they don’t care, and this is where problems begin.

The social acceptance being forced in, the acceptable narrative being shoved down our throats, is that when it happens to men it’s good and it should, but when the same thing happens to women it’s bad and it should happen to men. It’s disgusting. No wonder so many males are protecting themselves by staying away.

The politics is no longer about fairness, balance, equality, it’s about blaming men, discriminating against men, ensuring men get the worst treatment, all in the name of “protecting women”. Well I’m sorry but it’s time to get a grip.

If you look into the data around violence closely, I mean the real data, not from the tabloids, you can see that women instigate physical, verbal and emotional violence vastly more often than men in relationships, but men are less likely to report it, until recently. However, that’s not how they play it, the female is likely to instigate and after multiple serious warnings from the male to stop, they eventually get retaliation and all of a sudden guess who’s to blame. Look at the data in gay relationships comparing couples that are both men to couples that are both women, that alone is enough to end all this once and for all.

This is very much the case of the people who are the problem are manipulating the circumstances and playing the victim.

The narratives and rhetoric are pushed by an agenda and political motivations, so we get headlines, missing context, half-truths and even misrepresentations and lies. Take any given one and I can likely disprove it or add context to where anyone would say, why would they leave that part out or never frame it that way instead?

The most important thing around the issues I wish women would realize, is that it's nowhere near all men or the majority despite how these things are showcased, it's a smaller and repeat subset of chronically offending men, that not only exhibit these traits and tendencies, but there is also often a long and verifiable track record and more importantly, they need close and intimate proximity to their victims, that women freely, readily and willingly give them anyway.

This level of naivety forces them to be more critical of men and therefore more discerning and having higher standards which of course leads them right back to the same kind of men and they don't even know it, perpetuating the cycle. No, those are the guys who hate and actually control and manipulate women and see them as merely objects.

They think the mild manosphere information consumer or any so called incels are the perpetrators instead and then even try to extend it all men or always a man, or maybe that is just the excuse and what they use to justify it and try to save face.

Feminists aren't poorly informed, they're complicit in the lies. Many of them literally hate men and the rest see sympathy as a zero sum game: any given to men (or children, remember the #1 feminist issue is being able to murder your unborn child) is ripped screaming from women.
Wider society is subject to the "women are wonderful effect". Women can't win a physical or logical battle against men so they use emotions, deceit, and gaslighting to win their battles.

Well, firstly, the fact that men show higher average levels of aggression is a consistent, robust statistical finding about male behaviour at the collective (population) level. Ignoring that isn’t honest; it’s leaving out a persistent feature of how masculinity has manifested across history. As for mainstream / normal society - they’re not necessarily unaware of the existence of violence, even if they haven’t taken part in it or witnessed harsh, habitual violence. In a lot of mainstream progressive / feminist discourse, the very real phenomenon of male aggression (and male criminality) is politically instrumentalized as a kind of collectivist moral indictment of men as a group. At the same time, violence against men is either minimized or reframed as merely a side effect of patriarchy, rather than treated as a serious problem in its own right. The bigger issue is that this lets people morally judge individual men based on broad generalizations that don’t actually apply at the individual level. People should be judged on their own morality and actions, not on group generalizations, stereotypes and prejudice (including women).

They live inside an echo chamber where the facts are shaped to fit the beliefs and not beliefs shaped to fit the facts the way it should be. Anything that doesn't fit into the picture is simply rejected. Since this belief system tells them they are both superior and victims simultaneously (and therefore not responsible for their failures or shortcomings) they aren't motivated to try and be objective about reality and truth. Lying to oneself is fundamental to this process and so they have absolutely no problem lying to mere males about what is real and what isn't, what is true and what is a lie. It's likely many of them actually do know about the bullshit but good luck waiting for them to admit it. Why would they acknowledge something that exposes them and threatens their privileged status?

It makes me so angry it's not like it's some top secret info or some conclusion that needs hours of research to get from raw data, but that the crushing gross of the population is simply composed of NPCs that are passively exposed to disinformation 24/7 and will look at you in awe when you imply the opposite.

Because people often believe what they want to be true rather than what is proven to be true by replicable objective analysis.

They see "96% of rapists go free" instead of a majority of rape cases being unable to be proved in a court of law. That many (or maybe even the majority) of those cases could be false allegations is something they will not contemplate.

A large contributor of this is the subtle but powerful use of alienating and dismissive terminology and obfuscation of fact.

E.g. Being made to penetrate is tracked separately from male rape statistics.

I had a hard time explaining this to my sister. I remember when the Violence Against Women Act passed, I didn't feel good about it. My sister was baffled, like this meant I thought violence against women was ok. I had to explain that the act just made it so that federal funds would go to shelter only women. Subsidized housing, shelters, etc. for women who felt in danger but were too financially stuck to move on their own were provided. I think that's a good thing! What I had a problem with was the implicit message that it's unimportant when a man is in that situation.

I've had two major stalkers, first one man from the internet who obsessively started hating me, and then one woman who delusionally thought I'd fall in love with her if she stalked me hard enough. The only reason the woman never found my house (and trust me she tried) was because I learned my lesson from my first stalker cleaned up my digital footprint and scrubbed my info from every data broker I could. I was stuck and too broke to move in both cases. Under the Violence Against Women Act I would have been eligible for subsidized housing and protection as a victim of stalking, if only I was a woman. Because I am a man, I am on my own.

This is how misandry kills, by the way. It's not usually through direct violence, but through permitting men to suffer in seemingly-civil ways. Homeless women are more likely to be housed and sheltered by government and non-profit programs than homeless men, even though 75% of homeless people are men. Male victims of domestic abuse and stalking are left completely on their own, while women are given shelter, protection, and government-paid housing and moving expenses. Male civilians dying in warzones are not treated with nearly the same sympathy that women and children get. Men dying or severely shortening their lifespans due to dangerous and harmful work conditions aren't seen as victims or disadvantaged, because harm doesn't register as harm when it happens to men, the socially-approved receptacle for harm.

PS: advice for men, since you're on your own PLEASE use a service to remove your information from people search data brokers. I used Kanary, but DeleteMe, Optery, and Incogni are also good options. Protect yourselves men, because no one else is coming to save you. You never know when someone is going to randomly decide to obsess over you, so please follow my advice and get your information off of data brokers BEFORE that happens.

This is an area that pisses me off intensely because of just how much society whinges about violence against 'the preferred, pampered gender'. God, I would love to have people care about me even half as much as they care about women. It'd be a f*cking laugh.

There's a reason that a growing number of people - women included - are agitating to repeal the 19th amendment. Women will NEVER accept equal responsibility for equal rights. So long as they won't take on more responsibility, the only alternative is to remove rights.
