Seriously it's the best sleep. Perhaps the only good thing about those kind of experiences is they teach us to appreciate that.

Wanna sleep even better? Get a weighted blanket, best recent purchase I've made!

I'd personally stay away from reaaaally cheap ones? YMMV of course, but after trying a couple of cheaper ones from Amazon that I didn't like (partly because I got the wrong size/weight, partly because I didn't feel they were that well made)
I finally got myself one from Costco, it was about 85 + tax, but I've been loving it!
If I have any tips, is to really experiment with size and weight! These blankets can be expensive so I feel people (like me) are more reluctant to try a bunch because of the price. That's also part of why I decided to get a Costco one, since their return policy is great.
I tried at first a couple queen sized ones (from Amazon) which I hated. I have a twin XL mattress, and I realized when the weighted blanket slipped from the sides, it made me feel claustrophobic.
Then I got a costco one at 10lbs, twin size; that's when I realized that the size was an issue for me, it felt great that the blanket wasn't slipping down the sides. But now I felt the weight was an issue too, 10lbs felt too light. So I got the same, only a 15lbs one, and it's soooooo good! I'd daresay I could go even to 20lbs, but I like this one so much, and I'm fed up with experimenting LOL!
Also, get one that includes a cover! I feel reluctant to put the weighted blanket in the washer because I'm afraid the weight will ruin the washer, so I'm counting on the cover to keep me and my bed clean. Some cheaper brands from Amazon don't include a cover, and then getting one separately can be almost as expensive as the blanket itself.
Also YMMV when it comes to how cool it actually feels, even when they claim the cover is "cool" some reviewers feel it's warm either way, and it's kinda hard to not make it so, since the very nature of the blanket makes it kinda thick.

Yessss! Makes me wonder why I ever wasted years of my life on men.

I love sleeping in my own queen bed! In fact, I prefer sleeping in separate bedrooms even when coupled.

Yes!! Became single a month ago and this is it. BONUS: treated myself to the fluffiest duvet and extravagant pillows and throws. That sleep HITS!

I'm not even sure I wanna share my bed with anyone either. Don't know if I'll ever get married but I think I might want my own bed if I do. Is that weird?

I felt my blood pressure rise just reading the part about them walking round our nice tidy houses dropping crap everywhere. I have a specific place for everything in my house as I find this is the best way to stop clutter accumulating. The thought of someone putting things back in the wrong place all the time or worse still, just leaving stuff all over fills me with anxiety. And I know from experience that most men won't care enough to make an effort to learn where everything goes.
I hate housework (because who doesn't?) but I do it anyway because I hate living in a pigsty even more. I will not entertain any relationship that involves me doing any more housework than I currently do or tolerating another adult's mess.

Can confirm. Am single. Do fall asleep smiling most nights because I love my life

I sleep SO soundly these days. My skin looks amazing. The thought of sacrificing that for some man taking up my space, breathing on me fills me with horror.
The only thing that wakes me up is my dog, but he's a sweetheart, so I don't mind :-)

Same. Difference is my cats wake me up to feed them at 5am every morning and I don't mind. Also, I just realized this past weekend that I'm really fulfilled in my life. Had an amazing weekend catching up with friends, about to open my business under the FBA (Foreign Business Act) and just love my life living and working abroad. I don't see how or what value a man can bring into my life unless he wants to be an investor in my business. Other than that, I don't see the point.

SERIOUSLY. π΅ Feeling blessed. Never stressed.π΅

This meme is everything. My last relationship caused me so much stress daily for years. I would have nightmares, I cried all the time, it was so toxic. Now, I've been single for coming up on a year and the past 8 months have been so peaceful. I sleep like a baby. My skin looks amazing and clear. I'll be 43 in six weeks and look young as hell. I do whatever I want whenever I want without worrying about him telling me I'm wrong for liking/feeling/doing things that don't pass through his filter of what is acceptable. I'm the personification of Julie Andrews singing on top of the hill happy and unbothered as fuck.
