I see waves of it from time to time. It’s particularly the younger men who pick up on it. Older men tend to stay away from it as they’re stuck in whatever life they’ve built for themselves until they hit a trauma that they can’t escape. This usually takes the form of a hellish divorce and dealing with the court system. Many comedians reach a certain age and see this themselves. Then they have the usual epiphany.

I don’t doubt this happens. I’m just unaware of this happening during the past 2 weeks.

The idea of just fucking off and going it alone is becoming more and more widespread. I've even seen the first stirrings of it in my teenage relatives. In ten years it's going to be as common as monogamy (single/seeing someone/mgtow). This isn't the result of propaganda but a natural path- as the quality of women gets worse and worse men naturally question why they should make any effort at all. For many years men have tried to get women to act better, be more responsible or at least have some semblance of decorum and they were shouted down. Now women are going to have to accept the consequences of their behavior. The next two generations of women are going to have it harder than any others before them but, as always, expect them to have temper tantrums and expect more hysterical articles online as it gets worse for them. Women have never been good at taking responsibility for themselves.

What this person is failing to realise is that the men who are reading the horror stories are not the angry ones. The people who are really angry are the people writing the stories and those are the folks who have been ignored and who people like this are still ignoring. What’s disturbing isn’t that more men are reading things, it’s that so many men have been shat on and ignored such that their negative experiences have been chronicled in the first place.
