If you don't want to eat with a girl, don't invite her over so early. At the very least, say you've already eaten or had a big lunch and don't want to eat, and she can sort her self out before hand. Make it clear you don't want to eat. You can even tell her you want her for dessert.

If you don't want to eat out, offer something besides fucking stuffed cabbage. In your situation, I'd tell her to pick up takeout and I'd have a bottle of wine ready at home. Or vice-verse.
