It's almost as if grooming yourself to be as feminine and attractive as possible brings happiness to your man. Weird.

Conversely, it's almost as if grooming yourself to be as masculine and attractive as possible brings happiness to your woman. Strange.

I feel as if there could be more to this. Perhaps some theories, studies, lessons from history, philosophy, and anecdotal evidence that pursuing natural gender roles has a higher chance of a fulfilling relationship than not. I wonder if anyone has investigated this before. Hmm.

It seems like most members of this sub are in a happy solid relationship.

Or at the very least are striving for a more solid relationship and maintaining/improving it. It's an everyday, all day 24/7 journey.

It's pretty awesome, because the further and further we/I have gone with these ideas the less conflict there's been. We were going through a rough patch when we started this journey and fighting a lot. Now we rarely fight and most of the things we used to fight about just give me a giggle and make me want to hug him. We're the happiest we've ever been and I give this sub and RP ideas in general a lot of credit for that.

I love how this community encourages being positive about your marriages and husbands. So much of the time I feel we are encouraged to bitch about our spouses and often receive the 'you go grrrl' or 'leave him!' response. Seriously? Leave him? We. Are. Married. I also really enjoy the emphasis on keeping ourselves physically attractive and promote lots of sexy times with our husbands/SOs. Weird how increased sex leads to loving feelings... ;)

For those of you ladies who are looking, keep your girl game up. Look pretty everyday, work on making yourselves interesting and valuable, and don't waste the pretty! You'll find him.

Yes. Lol. In fact, I'm posting this from bed as Mr Strom just poked me. It was exactly like that meme yesterday where the couple was cuddling in bed then he poked her with his stiffy, but Mr Strom knew he was getting laid.

It's because that's the thing all of the ladies in this sub value most. We're either already in those kinds of relationships (I am also in this category), trying to fix broken ones, or trying to find that special RP man.

Yes, I has noticed this trend as well. As other users have said, we're either in happy relationships, working to make our relationships happier, or trying to start a relationship wit a good man. :0)

It is definitely not a coincidence.

People in 'other' types of relationships tend to get comfortable, stop improving, and feel that they no longer need to care. In RP relationships, both parties are constantly working to keep each other interested and happy. :)

Well, seeing as we're a subreddit dedicated to making lasting happy relationships, we'd be pretty big failures if the majority of us weren't successful in that respect.

Have you also noticed how in /r/relationships there seems to be problems all the time and rarely a post or two about a relationship working out?
