Women are just as sexual as men

So, according to MMSLP women are just as sexual as men, but when I read the rational male and preventative medicine, he claims that this is biologically false due to testosterone levels. Which one is right? I’m inclined to believe Rollo and the biological aspect of the matter, but I also think there might be more to it as women tend to be sexual with an LTR more for the closeness and intimacy it gives. I don’t know, I might be wrong on that one, but it is intriguing that there are opposite views on this.

This is BS. Women have less test, but in women test has very few functions, so it mostly goes to libido. Im men test has dozens of functions.

> but I also think there might be more to it as women tend to be sexual with an LTR more for the closeness and intimacy

Lol, wrong. The reason SOME women will mostly fuck only in LTRs is social convention / religious / fear of slut shaming.

They want to fuck Chad as much as you want to fuck the hot girl on saw on the street. Now, if she is actually going to spread her legs for him its a completely different story. But what is attractive to men is different to woman. To men is mostly her hotness: You see a hot woman, you want to fuck her. Doesnt matter if she is rich, famous, who she knows, what she does, what she has, if she is successful, if she is confident, assertive, has her shit together, etc etc etc. To women all of that matters in regards of attraction to men.

Also dont forget women are the gatekeepers of sex, and men gatekeepers of commitment. Women can use sex as means to get something they want (attention, affection, validation, resources, commitment). Now, if she gives it away freely means she is low value. Just like men who give their commitment freely are low value (men who accept staying in a dead bedroom, married to a landwhale feminist, stuck in the friendzone, married to a woman that fucks other men, etc).

Right, spewing out a bunch of cliches and scripted knowledge about “men vs women”’is just mental mastaurbation

Men are not bothered by problems, but by there view of problems.

Most women are responsive sexually. If a man is providing alpha sexual signals, then they will respond.

They are sexual because they want those signals and want to respond.

When ovulating, they get a spike of testosterone and become more sexually aggressive for a few days. They will initiate sex with an alpha more often during that time.

For some women that means they’ll grab your cock at a bar when you just met them. For others it means that they workout next to you in low cut shirts and give you eyes every 28 days at the gym. Often it’s an ex sending a Facebook message about every 4 weeks. Or the overt booty text from an FWB.

I see it clearly in my fiancé, the ovulation faze is sure fire for sex.

I have no doubts women are sexual, it was more the duality of one book saying what another one claims is a myth.

I think you mix things up. They are both correct.

Women are not men. Women are different from men. Period.

What MMSLP says is, that every women has the capability to enjoy all sexual activities that a man likes. There's no gender-specific limitation in what they can enjoy.

What Rollo always says is that they have different triggers, reasons, intentions or what ever you want to call it and different ways to enjoy those things. Plus the intensitity and the reasons change during her lifetime.

Once I was teaching a class and a couple of my students had just come from the Authoritative Women's Action League of Thundercunt Students (AWALTS- that is, they had just come from a Women's Studies course) and proceeded to interrupt my lecture showing the biological effects of Testosterone. They claimed T was a "social construct" and I laughed at them before telling them a story.

In graduate school for my M.S. in Physiology we did the "unknown hormone study." All of the students were given a male and female rat and a bottle of liquid. We injected the rats for 15 days and then weighed and dissected them. We weighed all the organs with the goal of figuring out the hormone we were giving them. I got progesterone as evidenced by the ovarian cysts and the growth pattern.

My lab mate got Testosterone. After just 5 days of injecting the Rats with the "unknown hormone" they became aggressive. First they bit him- HARD. Luckily our class was in a medical school across the street from a hospital so I walked him over to the ER. These things would literally BARK when you opened the cage, snarling, hissing, and growling like a couple of cats. They also nearly doubled in size over that 5 day period and had taken on the look of a well muscled rat! My lab partner could not believe that Testosterone could do that to an animal because we had been taught T was all in the mind. It is just a social construct!

No Virginia, T is not a social construct.

Wow... that's really sad and dangerous that scientific biochemistry facts are now relegated to being "social constructs", because it upsets the female mind. This is why STEM is lacking in sexual diversity. Mob rule doesn't overcome facts in the laboratory. Mob rule only works in the streets.

Testosterone is a driving force. It means that you'll have sex with a pile of manure. Women can want sex, but you have to get them in the mood. Usually this has nothing to do with candles and dinner and everything to do with your 6 pack abs, or just being someone that she thinks she's lucky to have.

[–]HandsomeCub0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Testosterone is responsible for accelerating/exaggerating percieved potential reward. Its interesting to realize that the difference between male and female sexuality shows us how lower testosterone leads to a ramping up delay with its receptors.

I can agree a single woman is as sexual as a man.

Even when paired with an alpha male, I firmly believe a woman will want less sex than a man.

It's reproductive biology. The catch is that the male need to spread seed can be doused by having sex with the same woman.

[–]chief-w1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

My understanding is that women have a greater physiological capacity for sex than men do (Being able to handle safe, well lubricated, non abrasive or bruising or rough or anything mildly crazy sex at least daily). Because of that the only thing stopping a monogamous woman from having sex is her inclination not to do it, and the authority of that inclination over her man's desires for much of that time. There is something to her period, there are a few days where she'll be more horny, and days where she just won't. I read a feminist study that proved that prostitutes and strippers can take "advantage" of their menstrual cycle to boost their average monthly income by working around when there PMSing and double booking when there ovulating. But most of the study subjects rejected the data because they thought they were the only snowflake that want affected by pms.

But men have a greater sex drive. They will want sex some where between daily and a few times a week.

Desire and arousal are a LOT more then just testosterone. Just with testosterone, you have bound vs unbound and androgen receptor density. Even estrogen plays a role in desire with both genders. A man with no estrogen has decrease libido. Then you have neurotransmitters, dopamine (stimulatory) and serotonin (mixed effect based on receptor). Adrenal hormones, while stimulating, can provide negative feedback to testosterone. Prolactin has negative feedback with dopamine, which has positive feedback with testosterone.

Despite all of this knowledge, we really don't have a firm grasp of female sexual desire. All prescription medications for low sexual desire in female work primarily on one pathway, and show limited efficacy.

Potato potatoh.

When they're into it both men and women are really into it, but men will fuck anything 2 SMV points below them while women will fuck anything 2 SMV points above them. Does that mean one is more sexual than the other?

[–]Stellarhit[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

I was thinking more of the biological aspects of the matter.

You believe the people that get laid. Of course women are sexual; possibly more sexual than men. Put yourself in their shoes for a quick moment and imagine having 8 or 10 orgasms every time how have sex. If that was possible, would you look forward to sex? Fuck yes. That’s why my GF sleeps naked and likes to fuck before bed and when we get up.

Why the fuck does it matter? The sounds like the first steps to some sort of victim complex about why you aren't getting laid.

Lol! Calm down there, tiger. It was a technical question where I found two books in the sidebar contradicting each other.

[–]Stellarhit[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

Why does anything matter? I found it curious that rollo said that men have a higher sex drive and that the “women are just as sexual as men” trope is a myth, I had a hard time getting my head around that as most of the girls I have been with have been very sexual, which mmslp states. It was an oddity I was interested in shedding some light on.

Worry about what you can change, the rest is noise.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Women are more sexual towards something new. Once they are comfortable with the new thing, it goes into the closet with all the other clothes and shoes they one adored and then got bored with.

[–]Bedtimeshine0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Women are as sexual as men its just directed at less targets for less reasons.
