Men are not violent against women because the poor things never got enough emotional education. Men are violent against women when they see women as objects that men can own and control for their own pleasure and satisfaction. An idea that is reinforced almost everywhere in society, especially through pornography.

And when women dare to assert ourselves that we are human beings and not objects purely for men’s needs and egos, this makes men angry. It is control not hurt feelings that makes men violent.

And the idea that women face rejection less than men?! In a society where women are judged on our physical attractiveness, are sexualised from the time we are children, only to be told that once we are 30+ we are too old and where older women become invisible once they are no longer ‘fuckable’, meanwhile ugly old men continue to hold all positions of power in society without ever a thought about their appearance?

First off- Every violent and non-violent act can be explained from a psychological viewpoint. Person who wrote this didn't discover the moon.

Second- just because it has a psychological background, doesn't mean that the action itself is excusable.

Women deal with rejection everyday, in every imaginable aspect of their lives. But mostly, they either find a way or move on.

If men can't do it, it is simply because they don't want to.

Most of the time, they don't even want to try.

If same sentences were written for women, almost everyone would see it as us being emotional and weak, like always.

But somehow it becomes #deep when we talk about men's weaknesses/faults. It almost seems like they don't want to own it up.

Let us assume that this person is correct and men being rejected is the reason why millions of women across the globe face abuse, why would coddling them work?

In "Why Does He Do That" by Lundy Bancroft, he explain that when abusers enter counseling or therapy to receive the so-called "affirmation" he reports that they only use it to justify their abuse. The only way the abuse ends is when someone denounces what they do and makes it clear that this behavior will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Someone rejected you, society rejected you, fine, but don't fucking attack women because of it. Also, for the love god, do not imply that feminism is justifying this violence because "women are rejected less than men". This is the sort of shit that's going to get women killed!

OBVIOUSLY this is absurd but I do caution all of you ladies, violent men can get very violent when rejected. It is a trigger for their violence so please be careful. Rape, attacking, murder. Make sure you are completely safe before rejecting them. There was a woman recently who was assaulted after rejecting a man in a bar. I had a man trap me in his apartment when I told him I didn’t want to go any further sexually. Men be verbally attacking me when I reject them. Be safe. I really believe these violent ZVM cannot handle any rejection.
