This post was influenced by a comment in another thread where /u/worldsendgirlfriend posited that feminism turned the OP's son gay. As I replied to this comment I felt that I should just make my own post.
Some might argue against the idea that feminism turned the OP's son gay but in all likelihood it's probably true. I walk through the city sometimes and wonder to myself, "how come I see so many effeminate/gay men if the natural occurrence in the population is less than 2%?"
The answer to this is twofold:
* Homosexuals tend to congregate in cities where they're more likely to be accepted and find members of their community for support and/or partnering purposes.
* There is probably a spectrum in the naturally occurring homosexual tendencies in a person that are genetically influenced. Influences in development might then push someone into the realm of homosexuality who might not express those tendencies on their own, even if they are predisposed to be that way. i.e. A man might be a 2-3 on the Kinsey scale but a female dominated household or a feminist education or a homosexual experience during development might make him arrive at the conclusion that he is gay. In a different situation the same man might live a normal life without ever coming to that conclusion, even if he were somewhat homosexual.
The latter point is artificially creating more homosexuals than might actually exist naturally in the population, all due to feminism and people's overzealous need to appear accepting. There are stories in the media of a boy putting on his mother's dress while playing and the parents coming to the definite conclusion that he is transsexual, pushing him to be that way after a singular playful childhood experience.
An individual arriving at the conclusion that they are gay or transsexual on their own - when their genetic predispositions influence their personality in such a way that they not help but express those behaviors - is in no way wrong. This is not wrong even if transsexuality is an improper expression of one's chromosomal sex or homosexuality is an improper expression of one's biological imperative to reproduce. They are outliers in the population that should not be avoided and thus do not deserve the contempt of others. What is wrong however is the push. People do not deserve to be pushed into a lifestyle that they did not choose themselves so that others can appear "progressive" and "accepting." They do not deserve to live a lifestyle going against the grain of larger society because feminist academia wanted more soldiers. Being a transsexual or homosexual is not an easy life, so it should be a life that one chooses to live because one cannot help it. Feminism is pushing people into their own sphere because they want recruits and sympathizers. This furthers the overall goal of weakening the male gender. Equality, yet again, has nothing to do with it.
tl;dr Homosexuality/transsexuality is not a choice but feminist hegemony shouldn't be pushing people into it for their own gain. That is something for the individual to realize.
Edit: My reason for writing this is because I simply find the idea interesting and thought it would be a good discussion topic since RedPill is after all about the root causes of sexual behavior. The impact on the sexual marketplace is net-positive for the heterosexual male as it does indeed remove competition (if you need that sort of thing). Those who are contributing to the discussion have my gratitude.
Edit 2: I say "genetics" but I also acknowledge that other biological factors may contribute to homosexuality (i.e. womb environment, brain shape, etc.).
