My LVM ex was extremely insecure that I didn’t need him and I could just kick him out whenever I wanted to. This guy would suggest marriage right away, putting our finances together and even putting his name on the title of my house(less than a year in). Things to try to level the playing field and to take control of me.

Men want a person to need them Bc it means they could do whatever they want and their SO will stay. And their fragile masculinity just can’t take it if they’re not “needed.” Men need to learn it’s better to be wanted. But they just want control/to be needed.

So they want you to need them, but when you need them they have power over you, and they can use that power to abuse you. So basically they want to be the abusive controlling ones to be happy. They just have to feel in control and superior to you, the inferior woman.

Yeah the only mistakes I'm seeing on her end were marrying him in the first place and being friends with him after he admitted he wanted her to be dependent on him because it made his dick look bigger when he was hunched over staring at it.

Can you literally imagine a man saying "She began to fear not being as successful as I. She said 'One day I woke up realising that no matter how hard I worked, I might not be as successful as you.'" and then this wife being described as kind and generous, the husband saying she loved him, and it was both of their faults

Being competitive with strangers is seen as the antithesis of kindness and generosity, but well, if it's just your wife, I mean legally you're allowed to beat it out of her so I guess he really must be a super kind and generous man after all.
