Yea I was a party kid in high school and college, it opened so many doors, if I hadn’t gone down that road I’d probably have become an incel

That said I’m older now so these days I’m more of a partier in spirit. I still go to parties but I just drink now

I used to drink a lot but now I mostly take edibles or hit the ecig thc cartridge when I go out. I do shrooms sometimes but that's way too intense to do in public 3g and I'm barely walking

One of my bike bros offers me coke regularly but I've always turned him down

What do you consider a party drug? Ecstasy? Cocaine? I love both. Weed has a social connotation (puff puff pass) but I usually smoked it solo, after coming home from work, for example.

I am a big fan of doing drugs in general, but I don't always have the best access to them, depending on the country in which I live. I don't really do drugs to lower my inhibitions or meet chicks, I do them to make the world tolerable and to feel good. I once got myself into a morphine and tramadol addiction and had to quit via slow taper. It sucked.

The only "drug" I'm not a huge fan of is alcohol. I usually limit myself to 3-4 drinks.

I used to take a lot of acid, etc, but I don't think I can do hallucinogens anymore, too much mental baggage.

Definitely. Been to a lot of uni drug parties too and they're pretty. Those circles are full of friendly people and can get you laid if you really want to.

As much as I would like to recommend them, I've seen some people mong out hard and scarily so from merely puffing a spliff once so they're not for everyone.

I would maybe recommend a small amount of MD but I would never suggest someone to take any if they haven't at least smoked weed before.

If you can't really function when you are high as fuck then party drugs would be a detriment and you would just look at a complete fool slurring your words buggy eyed trying to approach a girl. Seen this happen a few times at the club, doesn't look pretty.

(You can tell if someone is on some form of drug if you are experienced with drugs.)

I would just stick with alcohol to be honest if one wants to get laid.

Nah, I never have been. If women find men who do drugs attractive, then those aren't my type of women. And look, it's kind of hypocritical for a woman to say that men need to do drugs at parties to get women, then turn around and say divorces are men's faults because men are statistically more likely to be addicted to drugs and alcohol.

At the end of the day, if you, as a woman, end up fucking the guy that's fucked up on heroin at a party as opposed to the guy who has a couple of beers, then you are not somebody deserving of a half-decent relationship.

So, the reason why not is, I don't need drugs to have fun and enjoy myself. I don't need to do keg stands, and double digit number of shots, I do that sometimes because I want to. I'm going to be brutally honest here, the few times that I found myself with opportunities to get together with a woman while being completely smashed, I turned them down. I was usually there to have fun with friend, to get drunk, to socialize, not to get fucking laid while being so drunk that it takes 10 fucking minutes for my dick to get the message from my brain that it needs to get hard.

None. Don't even like going to parties or social gatherings either. A collection of loud people making themselves stupider over the course of a night is a waste of time.

If you thought I was attractive because I was on something, I would think less of you, because you must either a) be so brainless that you can only have fun while on something or b) looking for someone else to provide you with fun, which makes you into work and not fun

None. I've had a drink in Canada before, and I found out that I don't react well to alcohol since I started getting flushed and queasy. Never again.

Not even going to touch anything else since I might end up as a defense contractor or in oil and gas some day, and I don't trust my friends enough to cover my ass if I ever do something (mechanical engineering student btw).

Still single with minimal romantic and sexual success, but I'm honestly not too angry about it. I accept the consequences for my actions.

Yes to some. I don't do edibles because of a bad experience. I drive everywhere so unless I have a ride I don't do much. I haven't done mushrooms.

Really it's less how much you do and more where you do it. There's parties girls go to and there are others they don't.

i've tried pretty much everything in the past but now mostly just alcohol and weed. occasionally microdose acid or pop an Adderall and that kind of thing but that's more for work than partying lol. i'm always around coke and molly at social events but just not really interested in it anymore.

I have social anhedonia. I have spent several months now not interacting with any non family members other than for work. I mean I guess you could count reddit, but all Im really doing here is trying to shit out thoughts and feel profound, not truly engage with other people.

I dont get the appeal in other people, partying, socializing, etc. Would rather code or play games. Things, systems are more interesting than people. Humans always say the exact same shit to each other to the point where it becomes rote and mundane. Ofc if i was on drugs i might feel different, but I have no strong inclination, or a feeling that something is "missing" I just dont feel any appeal.

I do want to fuck female human pussies though. Thats maybe the only reason i would ever get high. I do take adderall to increase my productivity while engaging with my hobbies but i have adhd so its more like medicating than getting high.

The ideal world would be one in which i have a female fuckbuddy and we fuck 3-4 times a day, but rarely interact outside of that. She does her thing I do mine.

Drugs are great fun and help you make friends and meet girls.

But "drugs" as a category often get lumped together as one big group but there's many different subcultures within the drugs scene. Stick to ya party drugs is my sage advice to you all. But I'll tell you about the various scenes I have experience with all and they sometimes overlap but not wildly (e.g. you will get acid heads who like coke, but you are unlikely to find one who loves heroin).

Basically what you want is the weed, MDMA, LSD, and shrooms crowd. Those are the hippie ones who feel all connected together while they're tripping and will fuck each other (if you can get it up on MDMA which is a hard accomplishment... hehe). You get a lot of fun and aside from the comedowns (smoke weed for those, maybe some benzos but don't rely on benzos frequently, they're addictive) you won't do yourself any real harm assuming you don't take stupid doses of MDMA and fry your serotonin receptors. Just stick to sensible doses and don't do it every single weekend though and you're honestly good.

Then you got the stims crowd who tend to overlap with many others. Cocaine has a fairly universal appeal and most people who use it are casual recreational users not addicts according to the WHO. Which aligns with what I've seen too, coke is the second most popular drug in the UK and so common it's literally in the drinking water but most users are not addicts. Nothing wrong with some Adderall, Dexedrine, Vyvanse either. But stay off meth unless you got a plug for the pharma grade shit (Desoxyn, yes that exists).

This leads me nicely to the pharma crowd and this is where it can start to get risky. I said in another thread girls fucked me for Xanax before and I ain't lying. Which was fun, but looking back on it, they was probably addicted to the shit. While they're hyped up in popular culture a lot Xanax and "lean" (codeine) and whatever else are addictive drugs. Be careful around this area I would say. Xanax is not actually that recreational and I honestly think most people abusing it are self-medicating. Codeine makes you feel good but is the weakest opiate so tbh as long as you don't hang with people who take it all the time you're probably okay to try it casually, just don't make a habit of it.

Then you got the straight up junkie crowd which, contrary to popular misconception, also get together and fuck. Incels are even jealous of literal junkies! The drugs involved here are OxyContin and heroin mostly. Goes without saying... don't do heroin. I tried it a few times before (to try different batches) and thought it was basically shit every time, but I'd already been hooked in oxy previously and oxy is better than heroin. So don't do oxy either unless you actually get prescribed it. Strong opiates are just too good. It's kinda worrying to me that rappers are tryna hype oxy up as well. Don't fall for that.

Finally, speedballing is fun but dangerous. I can't tell it doesn't feel good. Of course it does. Smoking an OC80 while snorting coke was one of the most euphoric things I ever did. Ditto mixing oxy and MDMA. Which, if you're a fan of The Weeknd, is what his "XO" thing is referencing. But deaths from this type of thing are very common because stims, especially coke, will wear off before the opiate does, and you can fall into the trap of taking more of the opiate than you usually do to counteract the stim, so when the stim wears off you just OD on the opiates.

So there you go. That's how you enjoy drugs without dying. I encourage you to stick to the party drugs to facilitate your social life and don't fall for the hype around Xans and lean because they're really over-hyped and Xanax in particular is addictive.

Nearest I've been to "party" drugs have been the display cases at Drugs Project awareness sessions - so I coudl remove cause from casualty.

I don't. Just never felt the urge to, and I'm an ultra introverted hermit that doesn't like being around people in anything more than the context of a smallish gathering. I do drink, and I especially love single malt scotch (Oban 14 is probably my favorite right now), but that is very much a drink I like to enjoy alone. It hasn't really been an issue dating though, given that I have gone for similarly introverted people, and have been in an LTR since my 2nd year of college. My SO is somewhat similar to me too. We are both such introverts.

A decent amount of my friends are into it, and I have been invited to stuff relatively often, but I also only really hang out with my friends outside the context of parties. I'm not totally closed off to the idea, but I don't see a compelling reason to do any. If anything, it's a minor victory for me that I am perceived to be fun despite being the most introverted person most people know.

I basically skipped the party phase, but I'm pretty fine with that. I struggle to enjoy large social gatherings because I become easily overwhelmed and tire out very quickly (yay autism spectrum making me have to think about every miniscule social interaction, because I am unable to do a lot of it innately), even if I do want to have a good time.

Also worth noting: if I am drinking scotch, I probably am doing it at home because that shit is way expensive if I am out

Didn't know PPD was filled with people who think doing drugs makes you cool lol. News for you, everyone has done drugs at least once (usually more), you're not cool, you're just like everyone else hahaha. Shows me that this sub is filled with people who haven't left their house in 5 years.

To answer your question. A few of them in the past yes, (some by accident). It doesn't make you popular though, plenty of social outcasts (like this sub) take drugs too.

Never done drugs, never even drank enough alcohol for it to work. With predictable romantic results, lol. Though I've become more open to new experiences over the recent years, this is something I'll probably never do. Honestly, I can't think of something less fun in concept than a "party".
