Masterpieces of unintentional comedy perhaps. Tho I gotta admit that I sometimes like the intentional comedy too, like this post here.

I'm not impressed by that post. It's incredibly long winded. It's hot exhautive, just highly repetitive. Granted it doesn't have that tough guy tone that posts on there often have.

It's not distinctly emotional so it has that going but I wouldn't call it rational. I expect more rationales given in a rational post. Oh, and also it's basic premise is also bullshit. Women like have emotionally invested men. You can play mind games in a lopsided relationship but I shouldn't encourage anything to strive for that.

So I wouldn't call that post a masterpiece. More like a particularly good finger painting from a class of kindergartners. The posts that I actually think that good, useful, and accurate aren't about women at all but being self sufficient and grabbing life by the horns. Unfortunately all of the posts that I've read are also overly emotional, have a tough guy tone, and or horribly long and repetitive. I suppose there is probably a few of such posts that were actually well written, but I haven't seen them.

Even this "absolute masterpiece" is on the verge of being bullshit.

It's based on the assumption that emotional investment is always a turn off for women. It's more of a defense mechanism than actually helpful. It's not about getting good relationships, but about never getting hurt again.

Sure if being too invested and having no boundaries is a problem it will actually be helpful to become a stoic rock that never invests emotionally, but that doesn't mean that it's better than learning how to invest emotionally.

He seems to think that emotional investment is the same as being a needy and spineless doormat and he seems to think that the only way to express emotions is without any filter.

Emotional investment is an immediate turn-off.

This might all be true for the women he's dating and for the way he invests emotionally, but that doesn't mean that this assumption is actually a fact.

First, emotional investment is unattractive because people are attracted to lives that are more interesting, exciting, higher, and better than our own. We just assume that somebody living a better life than us is going to be thinking and feeling about their awesome life, not us. If a woman knows she occupies your thoughts and emotions, she will assume your life sucks.

Women can quickly sense by your body language, words, demeanor, tone of voice and actions whether you are emotionally invested. Neither you nor her may consciously know you’re invested, but you will just “feel” unattractive to her. Sometimes very subtle changes in behavior (staring too long, asking a question that is too intrusive too early) can tip off that you are too invested.

This doesn't ring true to me, but that's like the cornerstone of this post.

For example, a girl that plays soccer will be attracted to guys that are better at soccer than her because they will appeal to the part of her thoughts and emotions that are invested in soccer. I'm not saying she will never become emotionally invested in a guy who is worse at soccer than she is - she may invest in a guy for other reasons - but the guy is playing with a disadvantage.

I think a lot of guys emotionally invest in girls because society and pop culture subconsciously make us think that for a man to get a girl, he must supplicate to her and emotionally invest in her. In the movies, the confident, successful guy living his own life never gets the girl; instead the winner is the beta loser who falls in love with her from afar, and then spends the rest of the movie trying to “get” her, enduring multiple rejections and humiliations.

It's like the only movies he ever saw were nerd fantasies, but the confident and succesful guys are usually the biggest players with multiple women while the nerds are portrayed as unattractive virgins that only get lucky once in a blue moon.

There are also more parodies of the boombox scene and similar corny things than movies where it works out.

Without reading the whole thing, the reason that women do all those things like flaking is due to lack of attraction. Emotion is such a hang up for RPers because they've, in many cases, been hurt in the past, so they therefore conclude that the solution is to attempt to repress their emotions.

This is indeed what this guy is advocating, not to emotionally invest in any woman, and if you feel less emotion then you have somehow won the game of dating.

It's really an attempt to break dating down into a game theory that eliminates risk and means you never get hurt, as indeed is quite a bit of RP, in my estimation.

What he doesn't seem to realise is that life without risk and emotion is grey and pallid.

No, I do not agree there are "hundreds of masterpieces" on TRP. The post you linked is not a masterpiece. It proclaims in all caps WOMEN WANT TO BE DESSERT ffs. I just came here after reading a TRP post about giving women a new name against her will and refers to women as a "set of holes". Color me unimpressed.

Like most of TRP, it's guesswork, attempting to project his experiences on some sort of a pseudo-psychological model. It's decent guesswork, but it still is guesswork. In particular, the part where he claims emotions are evil and rationality is somehow fundamentally different is just plain wrong. Emotions work exactly like everything else about a human does, on a basic level. Rationality is just adapting your emotions to the modern society instead of relying on your lizard brain that's lagging a few hundred thousand years behind.

I could nitpick that post but in general it's solid advice.

While you're at it, yes, why not check out all of woujo's posts. You will not see the guy spew out the hate against women that you see coming from the red pill sidebar or posts from endorsed red pill members. He has a website and is giving out advice for free to the rabble in the red pill. This is not the normal. It looks to me like he is trying to establish himself as a seduction guru.

This post is the more normal red pill kind of post - in which a red piller is convincing others that you cannot say too dirty a thing to women. He also recommends spitting in their faces:
