I think some men mind not tolerate a lack of desire because "doesn't matter, had sex" but I doubt there are many, if any, who would actually prefer it.

Most men. But as usual, it comes down to options. If a guy has options, He would want someone that wants him too. Guys without options, have to take what they can get, desire is the next rung they wont ever reach.

I don't know, with some people here asking if women should agree to a sort of sex quota whether they want to have sex or not, I assume there are plenty of men who don't really care if their partner is truly into it. They just want to orgasm inside someone no matter what... Personally, the thought of one person simply going through the motions of sex purely to honour an 'agreement' or avoid an argument or something is very creepy.

But many men go to prostitutes - they are not genuine partners who desire them equally. And how about the men who love sex dolls and prefer them to real women? I'm sure there are lots of men who are looking forward to the android sexbot who will say yes every time and to everything, never have periods or non-sexy days, perform enthusiastically without actually being capable of desire or true consent and, of course, never have the added complication of a 'childish' personality, possibility (likelihood according to some TRPers) of betrayal or pesky desires and hope of orgasm of their own that come with actual human beings. Of course, there are likely plenty of women looking forward to those bots too....Oh what a wonderful day it will be when men and women can finally never have to talk to each other again and still get laid! Yippee!

I would guess that all men that aren't into rape want their sex partners to desire them at this point. Masturbation and porn technology has gotten to the point where a partner contains too many complications for simply sexual gratification. The 'doesn't matter had sex' sentiment is more out of desperation, something they would not go for if they had the option. Actually I think thirsty behavior is the primary thing that TRP should be against.

I have absolutely no earthly way of knowing the percentages but just going by my gut I'd say a large majority (60-80%) want there to be some desire and a sizable minority is okay with going without. I mean, there are definitely men that are fine with not being desired by their sexual partners but I can't imagine they form the majority of men.

29 RP male I think that a large majority of men want there partners to desire them and demand it. A quick read of the deadbedrooms sub shows swarms of men that are completely turned off by the thought of there wife or GF not having any desire for them. I see this in personal experience as well, being an outlier on this subject I notice that I am the only one that holds a preference to the contrary, of the people I know. Personally the best relationship I have ever been in (emotionally and sexual) was with an asexual that had zero desire for me sexually.

I think all men can be indifferent, but how and when it happens depends on the man and the partner. I guess men in general get tired of routine. If the partner falls into a sexual routine, the sexual relationship becomes boring and the man becomes indifferent. If the partner is consistently displaying desire and doesn't mind innovating and trying new approaches to sex, the man will prefer that scenario to continue.

Regardless, I think most men are inherently promiscuous, and eventually, even the most nymphomaniac man with the most nymphomaniac sex partner will wish for a new partner, even if the change is temporary. It is my belief that erectile dysfunction, for example, is often result of a sub-conscious lack of interest in the partner. If that's true, I'd say 100% of men, at different periods of time, will be indifferent to the partner's desire in relation to them.

Yet I believe that's part of men's nature, there's nothing they can do to prevent or cancel that situation.
