Most of us have always hated Trump. Watching his "supporters" turn on him is fucking delightful though. I'm not sure why these comments are the catalyst but I don't care. He's a sexist, racist piece of shit and deserves every bit of blow back he gets.

I'm not "outraged" by it in the sense some are... I mean, it's Donald Trump I can't imagine anyone expects him to be classy or dignifed, but I think it shows he has tremendously bad judgment and easily gets carried away. Billy Bush really egged him on and he jumped to take that bait and dial things up a notch. Not good qualities for the leader of the free world.

I'm outraged that he appeared to be bragging about committing sexual assault, and I'm outraged that he's normalizing this type of behavior and speech. Why should we give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he's joking? What has he done to deserve the benefit of the doubt?

Regardless, I'm happy to see him, his candidacy, and his delusions of grandeur go down in flames.

I largely agree with your interpretation. The whole spin of this story as 'admitting sexual assault' has seemed utterly absurd to me since I first heard what he said. There is way too much plausible deniability and ambiguity to make any kind of legitimate case that this is 'admitting to sexual assault'.

Even though I hate Trump and would be okay with him dying, I am pretty annoyed by this shitty smear of a story.

What I don't understand is why people are shocked by a notoriously sleazy womaniser being ''outed'' as a sleazy womaniser.

Everyone knew what kind of person he was for decades, yet it's only now, nearly a year after he became a serious candidate, that his whole campaign and persona is crumbling and disintegrating in ignominy, right before our eyes.

Why didn't people put a stop to him when they had a chance?

I'm not sure he's done something like that specifically (though with the recent accusations, it's certainly possible), but it does speak to his character as a man who aspires to be president.

He has poor judgement, poor self control, and he'd make a poor leader for this country.

Why would you even think of electing someone who has what appears to be an uncontrolled socially improper self to be President? I mean he doesn't just make off-the-cuff repulsive sexual banter about what happens between men and women, he also makes crazy misinformed off-the-cuff declarations about what should happen between nations. It is clearly just who he is, and he has clearly never bothered to learn how to reign it in properly. If he'd bothered with politics at all before deciding he wanted to be president he'd have learned to reign that shit in. Head of State is not the job to be on training wheels in.

I disagree with his politics so I'd oppose him whether he was properly prepared to be president or not. He's just making it easier for me by not being prepared at all for the job. He's wrong for the job on multiple levels, some of which have nothing to do with sex or choice of political paradigms. The sexual comments are just one form of manifestation of a broader wrongness, the wrongness that is thinking he can say any old shit and no damage will result that can't be repaired. Right now he's doing irreparable damage to his party's election campaign and he doesn't give a flying fuck how much damage he's doing to the Republican party. You know it is true. Why give him the country?
